Biography: Trained in Kido by her former Captain Tessai Tsukabishi, Azumi was the lieuntenant of the Kido Corps of the Soul Society, her specialty is kido, and is one of the few people who can cast Bakudou and Hadou spells without incantation. It was noted that before Tessai was exiled from the Soul Society, he taught Azumi, the two known forbidden kido spells which allows the user to warp space and time. Unknown to her, after her teacher and master she used it to prove that she should have been given the rank, but because it was forbidden she to was exiled and hasn't looked back which was nearly 200 years ago.
She entered the Academy with the now Captain of squad five, Shukumei Onigata and befriended her. Full of life and dreams that could give life to an entire town, she then met Ryouji Onigata and instantly fell in love with him. Since the day the two met, Azumi made it her new mission to one day marry him and live with him for all eternity. Upon being exiled her dream was cut short and she had no choice but to abandon the dream of a wedding and being married to someone she loved, although Ryouji never once originally thought the same way about her. In fact whenever they were around each other, Azumi would have love episodes, and Ryouji would totally blow her off, because he was in love with Captain Retsu Unohana.
Upon coming to the real world, she was reunited with her former master, and was given a gigai, and ever since that day, she has lived her life as a 'teenager' Watching over time itself as it passed her by. She now attends Karakura Town High School and is considered by many to be one of the most friendly and popular girls in the school (based on personality and looks alone)
Unknown to many of her many friends Azumi recently got married and is often ridiculed because she appears to be nothing more than 16 year old girl. Its unknown exactly who her husband is, but given her full name, it isn't hard to figure out. It should be noted that Azumi is notebly a few years younger than the owner of the Urahara Shop, and former captain of squad twelve, Kisuke Urahara. Which is often the punchline in many jokes delivered by Urahara, which usually results in him getting his head stomped on by Azumi.
