Shikai [Initial Release] Command: Blind them, Mikomi
Shikai Appearance: Mikomi's appearance does not change when released.
Shikai Abilities: When released, Mikomi emitts a blindingly bright and pure light, which acts as a means to blind her opponents and confuses them.
Bankai [Final Release] Command: Bankai
Bankai Appearance: Mikomi gives Shizune very light armor with a cape that hangs behind her. Her face is fully exposed. She becomes faster and much stronger though her defense suffers greatly.
Bankai Abilities: Mikomi transforms itself into a swallow which is able to be seperated at the hilt. The hilt, blades and crossguard all become white. Her spritual pressure grows stronger and much heavier than usual. She hasn't quite mastered it fully, but she can still use the transformed Mikomi with devastating precision and accuracy. The blades are sharp and when combined, she is able to unleash all of Mikomi's power into one devastating attack.
Biography: Shizune hails from a future time. She is the only daughter of Ryouji and Azumi Onigata. When Shizune was a young girl, her parents were killed by a Shinigami Hunter. They are inhabitants of the soul society, hailing from many of the Rukongai districts who hunt and kill Shinigami. She barely remembers them. In a rage over what became of her family, her Aunt Shukumei, vowed to find and kill the Hunter responsible for killing her twin brother and sister in law. As a measure of protection, Shukumei enrolled young Shizune into the Shingami Academy; the seretei was and still is the safest place for her. As she grew older. Once graduating from the academy, a friend of the family and former student of her father, Yuri Nakayama, the third squad captain took it upon herself to watch over and train young shizune.
It was discovered thereafter that her last surviving family member, her Aunt was found murdered. Yuri then took it upon herself to bring the criminal to justice. Shizune wanted to help but Yuri insisted that she didn't since she felt that the criminal would overpower her and kill her just as he killed her mother, father and Aunt. As a present, and something to remember where Shizune comes from, Yuri gave Shizune her father's old Haori and the scarf he use to wear over his face.
At the funeral where they honored the fallen fifth squad captain, Shizune was given her Aunts Haori. It was at that funeral when she spoke, she vowed that she would get stronger so no one else would have to ever lose the ones they love most and so she did, she trained harder and harder for years. She learn to communicate and manefest her Zanpakuto spirit, eventually gaining acess to her Zanpakuto's final release. With Yuri's request she was allowed to take the Captain's exam and she passed. She was promoted and was put in charge of squad nine. Since the eighth squad was taken (Being that her father and Yuri were captains of squad three and her aunt was captain of squad 5. Adding the two together you get 8)
Modifying her uniform to fit her tastes, attached to a two different shoulder guards, Shizune wears, her father's haori draped over her left shoulder, and her aunt's haori draped over her right. All three insignia are visible as a tribute and homage to her fallen family. She wears her mother's locket around her neck and never takes it off as it is the only thing she has to remember her mother by.
After months of searching and hunting in her own right. Her mentor Yuri, arrested the criminal and brought him to the seretei to be executed. The day arrived where the criminal would pay for his crimes, as they approached the site of the execution, the criminal managed to escape. Battling through a great portion of the seretei, the criminal found himself within the 12 squd laboratory and used an experiment to escape into the past where he hoped he would never befound.
After Captain Kurotsuchi pinpointed his location, Shizune was elected to follow him and bring him to justice at any cost. Although Yuri disapproved of it, she had no choice. So Shizune left and traveled back in time in persuit of the criminal. Present day Karakura town is where she ended up. Being told not to reveal who she was or where she was from, she keeps her identy a secret until she met the younger version of her Mentor Yuri who Shizune reveals everything to.
