Ronin had started out on his patrol, searching around for any unusual Hollow movements. As he searched, he flashed back to all the training his new Captain put him through, as well as the missions that several of his squad-mates were killed in. As he thought about it, tactics were used that until now were never seen before. It was hard to explain, but he put it on the list of things to ask future girl when he returned. His thoughts then shifted to Yuri. They had gotten close, but as of late he had not been around that often. And just before, she did not seem to mind him going out by himself. Maybe they were drifting apart, and he did not know why. He then shook his head, focusing on the mission. It was then that he felt someone near him. He narrowed his eyes, knowing exactly who it was. He turned around, staring at the one person who he had not caught on his list, the rogue Shinigami Shin Kaze.
"So it's you... You are a threat, one that must be eliminated. Threat level: Moderate. You must be destroyed!"

Shin narrowed his eyes at Ronin, still sore that he ruined his plans from before. He drew his Zanpaktou, pointing it at Ronin. He looked at the Shinigami, preparing to strike.
"You ruined my plans! Because of you, I have to start all over! I will kill you Ronin! Your future ends now!"
He swung his sword at Ronin, only to have him catch it with his bare hand. It was painfully obvious that this was not the same Shinigami that helped destroy the army he had created. This Ronin was completely different.

Ronin threw Shin into a building, readying his Zanpaktou. He knew Shin was not going to just let him leave, so the only option was to fight. It was going to deter his patrol, but there was no avoiding it. He shifted into a stance his new Captain taught him, narrowing his eyes.
"Shin, I do not have time for this right now, I have bigger fish to fry... You must be dealt with...."
He ran at Shin, his gloves appearing on his fists. He hit Shin with several punches, the last an uppercut that sent him clear into the next building. He watched Shin fall from the hole he made from going through the building, rubble burying him. He put his sword away, as he had not used it at all so far, waiting for his opponent to get up.

Shin climbed out of the rubble, glaring at Ronin. He screamed, unleashing his Bankai. He screamed, running at his opponent at a fast pace before flash stepping in his face. As he swung his spear, Ronin used a glove to parry the attack, the other catching him in the gut. Shin hunched over, unale to beleve that Ronin did not need to release his Zanpaktou at all to keep up with him. What the hell was he? He could not be human, though he clearly was not Shinigami.
"Damn you! What are you? I'm going to kill you! You hear me! KILL YOU!"
He charged at Ronin, twirling his spear in his hands as he prepares to strike him.

Ronin narrowed his eyes as he saw the attack being prepared. He moved up to Shin, hitting him with a machine gun volley of punches, each one harder than the previous one. He then growled lightly, opening his palm on the last punch to unleash a burst of fire. He cracked his shoulders, his gloves igniting with blue flames. He looked at Shin, his eyes a demonic red color. He smirked, glaring at his opponent. He watch as Shin ran at him and flash stepped toward him. Ronin shook his head, appearing behind Shin once he reappeared. As Shin turned to face him, Ronin hit his torso with a barrage of flaming punches. With the last punch, Shin was sent flying, completely engulfed in a blue flame. As Shin slammed into the street, a massive blue flaming pillar erupted around him. Ronin scoffed, speaking only the name of the attack.
"Pyro Barrage"

Shin's eyes widened as he was set on fire. As he hit the street, he yelled in pain as a pillar of fire consumed his already burnt body. Once the fires faded, he tried to speak, but no words came out. He struggled to his feet, releasing his full spiritual pressure. He had just about had enough with Ronin, and he was going to put him in his place right here and now.
"You! I'm going yo kill you!"
He flash stepped straight at Ronin, several times faster than he did before. He was certain that Ronin would not be able to match this speed, mostly because he would not have time to release his Zanpaktou, and not doing so was going to be his undoing.

After some flash steps, Yuri managed to get to where Ronin and Shin were at. Seeing him had caused a bit of shock, but she got over it for the time being. She had to keep Ronin safe. She moved in front of him, hoping it would keep Shin from doing anything. "What are you doing here and why are you attacking Ronin?" Why would he be doing something like this? Though it's been a while, she thought that everything was alright. That he was just out on a mission or something. She remembered how they hung out and had fun, but that seemed to change when she got promoted to Captain. "Explain yourself. Now's not the time to be doing something stupid! She turns to look to Ronin, smiling a little. She was happy to see him alright. However, she was a little mad. After all, what if their fighting had caught Zetsumei's attention? Then again, maybe he was ambushed. She would have to find out what happened and soon.
"So.. Both of you.. How did this start?"

Kyouteki appeared at the scene where he had sensed a battle. He scoffed as he saw the three Shinigai, though it was obvious that one of them was not on the same side as the others. It was also obvious that he was no match for his opponent. Kyouteki smirked, looking to Ronin.
"So you have returned to your world at last. You have grown strong, far stronger than the others or myself could have imagined. This could prove to be an amazing opportunity for me to test my own strength...."

Yuri had no idea what Shin wanted or what he was doing,but she had to talk some sense into him. Even if he didn't listen she would have to make him. What could of caused him to defect like this? "Look, we don't need to fight. Just tell me why are you doing this! This isn't like you!" She glanced back to Ronin who seemed to be confused. She sighed, looking to Shin. "Back when Ryouji was captain and I was his lieutenant, Shin was in the same squad. We would talk, hang out, and even train together. Since I became captain, I haven't seen him sense. I guess it would make sense why since it seems he's been in this world for a long time."
Then he would know what she would have to do. She would have to bring him back to be judged. "You're already in a lot of trouble for staying in the living world for too long. Make it easy on yourself and come back with me. Maybe the Commander General will reconsider your punishment!"

Shin shifts his eyes to Yuri, scoffing.
"Turn myself in is your answer? For what? Not agreeing with your methods? I won't do it! Sorry Yuri... not this time."
Shin shifted his eyes to the right, seeing Kyouteki appear out of nowhere. He looked to Ronin, seeing as the two had obviously ha unresolved issues.
"I see the human has a friend, I'm going to let them play. See you soon Yuri."

Kyouteki growled, being tired of being ignored. He looked at Ronin shaking his head.
"I see you still have that six foot wall between you and your full power, I'll have to fix that..."
He formed several ice shards, sending them at Ronin. As he saw them near, he noticed Ronin ready himself to deflect them. At the last second, Kyouteki had the shards turn and strike Yuri. He knew this was the best way to get Ronin to fight seriously.

Being caught off guard, Yuri was struck by the ice shards. Due to the force, some had managed to pierce the skin to the other side, making the injuries even worse. Of course, she wasn't going to let it stop her. She had to keep on going. She then took notice of Kyou, figuring he was going to try to hurt Ronin. She moved in between the two, unsheathing her Zanpaktou. "I don't know what you want with Ronin.. But I won't let you hurt him!" As she was about to attack, she noticed how blurry her vision got, dropping down to one knee. When she looked to her Haori, she noticed blood on it. Damn it.. What was she going to do? She's just a distraction like this. It didn't matter to her. She had to keep both Ronin and Shin safe. She forced herself back onto her feet, taking a battle stance.
"I won't let you harm them.. I'll keep on going!"

As Ronin saw what happened to Yuri, the area suddenly got very dark. As his eyes closed, his spiritual pressure increased greatly. He saw Shin drop to his hands and knees, and noticed Yuri struggle to stay on her one knee. As he walked to Shin, his eyes opened, a demonic red color. He pulled Shin off the ground with one hand, looking to him.
"Get Yuri out of here, keep her safe and help her heal. Shut up! Don't speak! You will take care of her until I find you. If you so much as put one hair out of place on her head while she is in your care.... I'll kill you...."
The way he spoke those last words sent a shiver down everyone's spine that was in the area. He meant it, he would kill anyone that harmed the one person he loved. He shifted his eyes to Kyouteki, who had flash stepped to Yuri to test his reaction. Ronin was instantly in front of Kyouteki, cracking his neck in a slow circle.
"You wanted to see my raw power..... WELL TAKE IT RAW!!!"
Ronin punched Kyouteki through the abandoned building across the street, too fast to be seen as more than a blur. As he walked over to the damaged building, he looked to Yuri as he smirked.
"My turn to protect you... hush, no speaking and save your strength, if he does anything to you, I'll kill him myself..."

Kyouteki watched the two Shinigami leave as he got to his feet, taking note of the third that had not moved since coming on the scene. He scoffed, looking to Ronin.
"Ronin, you are going to be in trouble for sending her with the rogue. Why not send her with the other Shinigami who thinks I have not noticed her? Oh well, it matters not, I wish only to fight you."
He ran at Ronin, throwing a punch at the Shinigami. He wanted to take his time, wanting to see the fullest extend of Ronin's new power.

Ronin caught Kyouteki's fist, throwing a punc of his own only to have it caught. As the two tried to push the other down to the ground, he scoffed.
"I wanted to kill to birds with one stone, I knew that we needed more information on Shin's plan, the only way to get it was to send in someone who has a connection to him. Yuri and him were friends, so she has the best chance to get what we need."
He brought his knee up, catching Kyouteki in the gut. The force launched him into the air, Ronin throwing a punch as Kyouteki landed on his feet.

After flash stepping half way across the town, Ryouji landed on the ground behind the fight. He glanced around searching for Shi and because of the fighting he couldn't sense her through it all. What was worse was that Yuri was nowhere to be found either. What the hell could she be doing at a time like this. She could take care of herself, right now he was more concerned with finding Shi and getting Shukumei the help that she needs. After doing a bit of searching with his eyes, he picked up on what felt like Shi's spiritual pressure and flash stepped over to it. When she stood up, Ryouji performed another flash step, appearing under her, and lifting her up on to his right shoulder.
"Don't argue, you may bite your tongue"
With Shi on his free shoulder, he flash a glanced over at the two fighting and sighed in disgust. He had better things to do than to play babysitter to a lost cause. Once Shi was settled he began flash stepping again, heading to Urahara's as quickly as he could. With the added weight, it was slowing him down but he could make it before Shukumei lost to much blood.

Kyouteki caught the punch that Ronin threw, smashing him into a parked car near them. Kyouteki drew his Zanpaktou, slashing down at Ronin's head, only to have Ronin draw his Zanpaktou and block the slash.
"You are distracted. What's the matter, not in the mood to fight?"
Kyouteki slashed at Ronin several times, each one parried and countered as the two exchanged attacks. Kyouteki growled, forming ice on his left arm to make an ice blade. He slashed with both blades, forcing Ronin backward.

Ronin knocked away slashes from both weapons with his Zanpaktou, back-flipping away. In mid back-flip, he released his Zanpaktou, uttering his Shikai. Suddenly his twin Zanpaktou appreared on his back as well as his Kimono extending to cover his nose and mouth as well as up to his ears.
"You think I like fighting? I don't! I've lost so many under my command! I fight because I have to, because people like you leave me no choice! I can see why he hates me in the past, but I get it now. Fighting is not a choice, it is a last resort! That is what she was trying to tell me when I was in her squad, I was too naive to see it."
In the middle of another back-flip, he pulled both blades from their sheaths. He blocked both incoming slashes from Kyouteki, now starting to push him back. Once he had an opening, he kicked Kyouteki back, slashing at him and using his momentum to feed his second slash and continue on for five consecutive slashes, the fifth an X shaped slash that left a cut on Kyouteki's chest. He twirled his blades around, his eyes telling Kyouteki he was not going down easily.

Kyouteki growled in pain as he now had an X shaped wound in his chest. He staggered backward, glaring at his opponent. He grumbled, holding his Zanpaktou close to his body.
"Enough games! I want to put an end to this rivalry!"
Kyouteki released his Zanpaktou, an extremely hard shell covering his body. He began to grow, looking down at Ronin. He roared, thrusting his spear arm right at him. As he saw Ronin dodge, he swung his shield-like arm and sent Ronin into a street sign. He thrust his spear at Ronin at blinding speed, seeing him dodge and use both blades to deflect his shield strike enough to rebound off it and land on a street light standing on one foot.

As he landed on the light post, he released his Bankai, his blades expanding to become massive wrist blades. He jumped off the lamp post, striking the shield with both blades. As he saw the spear approaching him, he parried it with both blades and had to dash back a few paces. He looked to the shield and saw that there was barely a scratch on it. As he began avoiding the spear he jumped into the air, uttering his second Bankai command. On his way down his blades turned into a giant axe. He rammed his axe into the shield, hearing a loud roar of protest from Kyouteki. He was flung off the shield and onto the ground. He looked up, seeing Kyouteki point his spear at him.
"I don't have time for this!"
He widened his eyes, seeing shards of ice shoot out from the spear tip. He dodged between them, knocking away the shards that got too close.

Kyouteki laughed as he fired shards from the spear like an ice machine gun, watching the Shinigami dodge between them. He swung his shield arm, trying to knock Ronin as he dodged and knocked the shards away.
"What's the matter Ronin? Not having fun? Hahaha! This'll make it better!"
Kyouteki increased the rate of fire from the shards, laughing more and more. He smacked Ronin into a street light, moving to the Shinigami. He brought up the spear, preparing to finish off his prey.

Ronin stood up, looking to Kyouteki. He narrowed his eyes, holding the axe in his right hand. He cracked his neck in a circle, holding his left arm across his chest.
"I do not have time for this..."
He muttered his true Bankai, the one that came from the mastery of his powers. Both wrist blades appeared on his left arm, forming a kind of quad-blade. The axe shrunk in size slightly, the blade getting thicker and wider. He looked up, catching the spear between the four blades. He then growled, using the caught spear arm to throw Kyouteki into the same abandoned building he punched him into when the fight first started. He narrowed his eyes, aiming his left arm at Kyouteki. He formed fire in his fist and shot it between the blades, the blades speeding up the fire blast. As he saw Kyouteki use his shield arm, he continues the projectile assault. The effect o the blades made the attack similar to a rail-gun, slowly pushing Kyoutek back. When he stopped shooting, he ran at Kyouteki, slamming his axe into Kyouteki's shield. He knew he had to finish this quick, his thoughts drifting to Yuri as Kyouteki shook the shield frantically to get Ronin off.

Kyouteki started slamming his shield into every hard surface he could find, trying to get Ronin off. He was so enraged, he did not even notice the drastic surge in Yuri's energy. He he kep thrashing his arm, roaring loud.
"Die! Ronin! I want you to DIE!!!
He slammed the shield into the ground, noting the Ronin was no longer on the shield. He roared, charging straight for the Shinigami.

Ronin sensed Yuri loose control to her Hollow, jumping off the shield as he pointed the quad blade at Kyouteki.
"Another time... something more important just came up..."
Ronin fired a huge fireball into Kyouteki's gut, sending him flying several blocks. He then began flash stepping as he reverted to his Shikai. He raced to where he sensed Yuri, hoping he got there before her Hollow made her do something horrible.
