[This post takes place a few days after Ryouji invaded the soul society and took Yuri]
Pain...anger...sorrow and emptiness is all that the captain of Squad Five knows now. Since the day her brother showed his face within the sereitei. Its all she could truly think about. Shukumei was lost to put it mildly. She didn't know what she could do. The way Ryouji slipped into the sereitei without anyone knowing or giving away his position, there was no telling how bad the reprecussions of his visit are. Not to mention that Yuri was taken away from her home. She could never possibly be addressed as a traitor for she volunteered to go to keep the peace. She glanced up from her desk as a fist struck the door with a knock.
The door opened and in awe Shukumei stood up as Captain Unohana and Head Captain Yamamoto entered her headquarters. She went to the at-ease position as the Head Captain stood before her.
"Captain Onigata...the time has come for us to bring Captain Nakayama back and free her from Ryouji's control. I've opted to send you, on this mission. Captain Unohana has in formed me that you truly believe that Ryouji can be saved and that none of this is of his own doing."
Shukumei lowered her head slightly. She wasn't even sure anymore if that was the case. He seemed so uncaring and serious.
"I'm not sure anymore myself. He was willing to kill you if we did not hand Yuri over to him sir. I really wish I knew, but as it stands now I am no longer sure if he is being controlled or if he's of his own mind"
Head Captain Yamamoto turned to face Retsu, whom was remaining calm and smiling all the same. How could she be so positive looking when her husband is wanted for treason is to be put to death. Perhaps she had to be positive, for thats all she ever knew how to be.
"If there is a chance that Ryouji can be saved from Aizen's grasp then you have my leave to do whatever it takes to free him. The fabrication of his position is my fault. He is angry, but I feel if he truly wanted to kill me then he could have without question. His disposition changed when you asked him to reveal Aizen's plots. We must free him as well. I've ordered Captain Komamura to escort you, between the two of you. You should be able to over come any obsticles that Aizen may throw your way. This mission is an extract mission, do no more than you must to bring Captain Nakayama and Ryouji back to the sereitei"
Shukumei lifted her head slightly and it was as if the hope she had lost after seeing Ryouji again had been returned. Even still, she wondered if she could do it. Even with the help of Sajin...Ryouji will be a tough opponent either way.
"I have yet another dilemma Captain Yamamoto sir. Due to my last mission in testing the powers of the Hougyoku. I myself dissolved the barrier between Shinigami and hollow powers, with the Central fourty-six being reinstated, how will my brother be treated, will they have him or even myself excuted? As you remember the previous members slated that the shinigami who obtained such power be executed and treated as hollows"
Shukumei wondered how the other captains would take it. Many of them do not know that Yuri too is one of the few whom also has access to Hollow powers.
"I will bring this before the central fourty-six and see to it that Ryouji not be executed. Do to the circumstances I believe the order will remain, but you and Ryouji will be excluded from. We have spoken enough. You and Captain Komamura are to leave immediately, time is of the essence"
