Nori came back after another day of killing hollows. His powers have grown a great deal due to this invasion of sorts, but something about it bothered him. There were WAY too many hollow around, something must be very wrong. He waited, knowing Ronin would be home. Ronin was no doubt killing hollow just as he was. He needed to bounce some ideas off him something seemed off. He sensed the Captain that disliked Ronin, but something was different, darker about it. He wanted answers and he wanted them now.

Ronin took his Captain and Yuri to his house. As he neared it, he sensed a much stronger Nori than before.
Seems he's been training, that's good
He opened the door and let the women walk in first, soon following them. He took them upstairs, smirking to Nori as he opened up the sofa beds so they could all rest. Nori nodded to him, realizing that they were all a little fatigued. Ronin flopped on one of the beds, letting the others do as they pleased.
"Our house is your house, make yourselves at home"

A small smile appeared on Yuri's face as she stepped in the house. It made her remember the day she basically played hookie. They went out, had fun. It was a blast. Poor Nori though. She giggled as she remembered the crab pinching onto him after burying him in the sand at the beach. She was happy to see that he was doing well. "Thank goodness you're alright. I knew you could handle yourself, but I was worried if you had gotten exhausted or ran across a Hollow that might of been difficult to kill.. Anyway, I'm trying to say I'm glad to see you're doing well."
She decided to explain to Nori what was going on. After all, the more help that they had, the better. It doesn't matter if he's human or not. He too also knows the layout of the city and could probably help set up safe areas that can be used to their advantage. "So that's the gist of it.. So I was thinking.. Maybe it would be a good idea to set up perimeters of which Hollow is in which part of town. This may prevent us from stepping into something we can't handle. While we're at it, maybe we can mark safe areas.. We could use these to make several bases while we're here.." It sounded like a good idea, but can it be done? There was only one way to find out.
"Maybe we could do that if we had a map of the city.. Anyway, that's my suggestion. What do you guys think? Feel free to say what you want but uh.. Try to be a little nice?" Yuri laughed nervously, sitting down. She really didn't mind if they let her have it if it was a bad idea. She was just trying to lighten things up.

Shukumei walked throughout the living quarters and stared around at its furnishings. She eventually moved herself into a section of the room, wanting to be isolated from the others. Her thoughts were on one thing and that was Ryouji. He was the complete opposite of what he use to be. So dark, so cold. The way he stared at Yuri, the feel of his spritual pressure, everything was different about him.
She was affected to the point in which she felt as if there was nothing she could do. She couldn't even move when he choked Yuri. For the first time ever, she felt as if she failed. She sighed and mumbled his name under her breath
"Ryouji..."
How could this have happened, her own flesh and blood now her worst enemy, threatening the existance of all Shinigami and the soul society itself. Not to mention the people of the city. So many died today and she felt as if she let it all happen. It was beginning to become to much for her. She pressed her back against the wall and slid down onto the floor with her knees to her chest. She never felt more like crying then she did right now.
She kept her head lowered as sobbed quietly to herself. There had to be something she could do to bring him back, aside from Kai, Shukumei had nothing else in the entire universe, at least with Ryouji around she always knew that she had someone. Still the fact remained that she felt it was her fault. If she would have listened to him, none of this would have happened.
"Its...all my fault!"

Ronin looked for his Captain. It was not like her to isolate herself, so he figured something was bothering her. He already knew what it was, and so he felt he should do something to try to help. When he saw his Captain, he walked to her slowly and quietly, placing a hand on her shoulder.
"I know it hurts, and I'm sorry I've been such a screw-up. I'll get him back for you..... even if it costs me m life. You've taught me so much, and I have done nothing to repay you. I swear on my zanpaktou, I WILL get him back to the way he was. And although it probably doesn't mean much, you still have me, you are not alone. Since I've been in your squad, you've been like a mother to me..... but if you tell anyone that, I'll probably die trying to scratch you with an attack......"
He ruffled her hair, something he knew she hated but also something she knew he did to comfort people. He walked outside, looking at the stars for comfort.

Nori noticed Ronin leave as Yuri was talking. He listened to her plan, taking it in as she explained it. When she finished, he shifted, looking to her.
"Your plan is good, but as of now, we do not know of any save spots, the hollow are EVERYWHERE. We would need to do re-con when they come back, see where they avoid and where there are less of them. I would say that this place is the best spot as your Captain doesn't know this is where Ronin lives. Ronin never took him here, so I guess it is safe for the time being. We should figure out what we will do when the time for battle comes, there are seemingly endless hollow coming, this is not going to be an easy fight....."

Nori was right. It wasn't going to be an easy battle. Though her idea sounds good in theory, how could it be executed? more than likely they're being watched. The moment any one of them leave the house would be exposing their location. "It sounds good, but is it possible? I'm sure the moment we step out would result in revealing our location. If we use any kind of Kido, be it to communicate with Soul Society or whatever, would find us. Then again, I'm not quite sure even this house is safe. Maybe I'm thinking too hard.." Or may it was her trying to cover all the bases. There had to be a way to hide their location without giving it away. The only thing that came to mind would be returning to Soul society.
"All I can think of is going back and trying coming back again but scattered. But I'm sure once we do that, it would bring attention unless.." Yuri didn't want to finish what she was going to say. It would require one of them risking their lives in order to provide time for the others to escape. It would also mean the bait could most likely die. "Eh.. Nevermind.. I think the best and only thing we can do is get some rest. We can take shifts and be lookout. Well, now that I think of it.. Wouldn't they need time to rest? Captain could of used a lot of spiritual pressure in.. 'testing me. I'm sure he ,despite being an Arrancar, is tired." Yuri was confusing herself with all these ideas. She holds her head, having a worried look on her face.
"So many ideas and no way to execute.."

Shukumei turned toward Ronin and gave something like a half smile. She knew that he was only trying to help but it wasn't really working. She did know that sobbing and taking the blame wasn't going to do any good. Shukumei pushed herself up to a standing position before dusting off her robe. She stretched and sighed again before sitting down at the table.
"Yuri, you're plan could work just fine. The only flaw that I noticed was that you were reluctant to use the word bait which is exactly what we would need. Truth is it won't be long before he finds out where we are and bring the fight to us. With all the casualties today their numbers have increased exponentially. We will need bait in order to goad the Hollows into coming after us rather than attacking the humans"
Shukumei ran her fingers through her hair slightly before placing her hand on the table. She could not allow any of the group to serve as bait, so she would have no choice but to do it herself.
"I cannot allow any of you to think about being the bait, it is only just that I act as the bait and Goad Ryouji into sending hollows to me. In the mean time, the three of you will start out in different locations in the city. As I draw them to me, the lot of you will begin a direct assault from behind. Ronin and Nori since you know the city best, the two of you can chose amongst yourselves as to who takes the north and the south. Yuri you will have to follow my spiritual pressure back to me from the eastern direction. I will fend the hollows off in the center and the western direction. If we are lucky enough, We can deal a devastating blow to his forces. Once we regroup, we can stop Ryouji and we must do so at any cost"
Shukumei lowered her head knowing exactly what the phrase at any cost means. Worst case scenario is that she would have to kill him in order to protect the city. All feelings aside, she knew that there would be no other way.
"One thing to remember is to keep your spiritual pressure at a bare minimum. If Ryouji senses anyone but me, he could easily change his plans and it would end up bad for the lot of us. Are there any objections? If not, I expect the three of you to get lots of rest while you can"
Shukumei pushed herself up from where she was seated and climbed out of the window, heading for the roof of the abode. She needed time to think and to prepare herself mentally for what could be her toughest decision yet.

Ronin smirked, listening from window outside the room the others were in. He agreed that his Captain's plan was brilliant, but there was a small hitch in the plan, namely the rogue Captain. He laughed lightly, sticking his head in the window above Yuri's head suddenly.
"Nice in theory, but Captain, there is a small problem, well it's kinda a big problem..... Your brother.... He will not stand by as you destroy all the hollow. Someone would have to keep him away from the area you are. As you know, there is one person who can keep him from getting to you..... unfortunately, since my personality is not complete.... it won't be much of a battle.... I'll have to fix myself on my own..... this will take long.... so i will take my leave to do so....."
He pulled his head out the window again, turning to leave. He knew there was a possibility someone would follow him, but he didn't care. When the time for battle came, he needed to be his best, complete. He walked slowly, going to the last place he was at that state, the site of the 'accident'.

Yuri was taking in all the information. Seeing Shukumei and Ronin leave, she sighed, rubbing the back of her head. Wouldn 't leaving the house be a bad thing? Well, technically she was on top of the roof, but still. "So that means no Shikai or Bankai.. No Kido.. Talk about your regular slice and dice.." Shukumei was right though. They're going to need all the rest they can get. Once the plan takes place, there's no going back. also, there's no guarantee that they're not being watched right now. Yuri was trying to stay a few steps ahead of the enemy, but would it turn out like that. I hate to assume this.. but I must figure that Ryouji knows that we're going to try to destroy the Hollow hold on the city.. But would he know about us splitting up? Even if he does know, what can be done about it?I have a strong hunch that Soul Society may not send back up.. After all, they're going to need all the protection they can get if Aizen does make that extra key.. So either way, this whole operation rests with Captain Shukumei, Nori, Ronin, and myself..
Naturally, Yuri was starting to feel stressed out from feeling the pressure. Not only does the outcome of the living world fall on her, but the well-being of Soul Society as well. Let's see.. Nori and Ronin takes the North and the South.. I take the East and follow Captain's Shukumei's spiritual pressure to her.. I'll have to be on guard.. As of right now, I'm the weakest of the group.. Captain Ryouji may try to take me out.. But I have to survive.. I will survive..
Yuri lies down on the couch, closing her eyes, trying to play different scenarios in mer mind. Hopefully, the real thing will end differently.

Ronin carried Yuri back to his house. He seemed the same yet looking at him, there was something different. it wasn't in just looks, it was something that could be felt. He put her down, ruffling her hair lightly as he opened the door. They both smelled pretty bad, mostly from being in the pile of trash. He laid on a couch away from the others, allowing Yuri to clean up first. There was a lot on his mind, he wondered what the others would think of the real him, none of them had ever seen it. He was sure his Captain would definitely disapprove, nothing he did seemed it make her proud of him. He sighed, closing his eyes as he meditated quietly. He needed to focus, the battle that was to take place was going to be a bad one. He knew innocent lives would be lost, his only question was how many.

Shukumei climbed down from the ceiling and wormed her way back into the window and stood at the center of the living area. Shukumei tilted her head to the side slightly while staring at Ronin. He was different but in someways exactly the same.
"You managed to complete yourself. Well done Ronin, well done indeed, I'm afraid that the celebration will be short lived. I've been feeling hollow activity. I believe he's beginning to mobilize the Hollow forces. I am anxiously awaiting to see what this transformation has to offer. I will make my way toward the center of the city, when the three of you are ready, move to your positions. I will fend them off. Once the three of you reach the center of the city, we will begin our assault on Ryouji. Together Ronin, do not try to be a hero. I've already lost my brother, I do not need to lose anyone else."
Shukumei jumped out of the window a second time, leaving for the area in which she would guard and goad the hollows in attacking her. She needed to keep a level head otherwise this mission would be a drastic failure and failure was something she could not deal with.

Yuri had just steped out of the bathroom with fresh new clothes. She sees Shukumei jump out of the window, only to run towards it. The shinigami sticks out her head to see if she could spot the captain but by now, she was out of site. "I can only assume this is the start of the plan.." Yuri soon moves her hair into a ponytail, placing the two golden hairpins so they would hold the hair in place. Yuri was really nervous that things may not go according to plan. After all, Her captain and and Shukumei have been captains for a long time. They should be familiar with each other's tactics. Still, they each had a job to do and they had to do it. "Well, this is it.. Good luck you too.. Let's get through this..
With that, Yuri steps out the door, making her way to the east side of the city, taking out what Hollows she could, waiting for Shukumei to signal her to head toward the center. This...isn't good... But I'll have to focus... for the sake of the city.. for the sake of Soul Society..

Ronin quickly showered and turned to his Shinigami form. He looked at Nori, who was already transformed and ready for battle. He kept his zanpakutou in its sheath, using his gloves for the time being. He held his hand out to Nori, making a fist starting with his little finger and ending with his thumb. <the way Kazuma did in scryed> He smirked, looking to his friend and rival, knowing this was going to be a hell of a fight for them.
"Don't you dare die! Our fighting record is 49 and 49, we need to have one last battle... Only I get to defeat you, got it?"
He smirked, anticipating the battle that was about to begin.

Nori smirked, glad Ronin was back to his old self. He knocked his fist against Ronin's, as they did when they were heading into trouble. His expression turned serious, looking to his friend.
"I don't plan on dying, so you make sure you make it out alive. I know a few people who would be crushed if you died here. And you're right, we need to settle the score, there has to be a winner...."
With that, they both jumped out the window, heading toward their predetermined locations. This was a fight for the future, and there were only two choices: win and save the town or lose, and watch as their town turned to dust. The only question was, which one?
