Nori sifted his eyes to his best friend, smirking a little. He was a little older than Ronin and as such was always asked the questions Ronin did not want to answer himself.

"Still can't make up your own mind ehh? Nothing changes..... Look, just figure out why you became a Shinigami in the first place, then everything will fit together...."

He flopped on the bed, tired from all his martial arts training. He had just came out of the shower when Ronin returned. From the start he could tell Ronin was struggling with something, but he knew Ronin had to figure this one out on his own.

Ronin grumbled, shooting a glare at Nori. It was not the answer he wanted, but deep down he knew it was the right one. Still, it did not help his situation.

"Thanks for nothing Ace! Geez, this was the one time I REALLY needed your advise and you go and pull that...."

He tossed a cushion from the sofa at Nori, sulking a little. He looked out the window, something feeling a little off, but he shook it off as nothing. He figured it was his stress over the cohoice he needed to make.

Nori punched the cushion away, putting Ronin into a headlock. He sighed, knowing this was the only way o get Ronin's undivided attention.

"You moron, you want me to decide for you, not give you advise! Figure it out for yourself, his is something no one can help you with. It is your choice and your choice alone to make...."

He smirked, figuring that now his friend would understand what was needed.

Ronin struggled as Nori talked, listening as he spoke. As what his friend started to sink in he stopped struggling. He sighed, calming down.

"You're right... but it's going to be hard to choose..."

He sat down once Nori let him go, looking to his friend.

"Thanks, that really helped me....."

He suddenly looked out the window, seeing several Hollow near the window. He quickly turned into a Shinigami, going outside to fight.

Nori looked outside as well, having felt something. He saw several things with masks, then Ronin running outside to fight them as a Shinigami. He saw that Ronin was outnumbered, running outside to help. As one of the hollow as about to hit Ronin from behind, Nori kicked the hollow, sending it skidding back a few feet. He then went to Ronin, his back to his.

"looked like you could use a hand, you can scream at me later, let's finish these guys..."

He continued to fight with Ronin, but for some reason, it seemed more and more hollows were coming, he looked to Ronin, wondering if he had a plan.

Ronin also noticed the seemingly endless hollow attacking. Even with Nori's help, they were simply out matched. He shifted his yes to Nori, making a choice.

"Run, I'll handle these guy Ace, you need to get to safety, head to the candy store across town..."

He was about to turn around when a Hollow swung at him.

"Ronin!"

Nori saw the attack, it seeming to be in slow motion. Suddenly, a red bust of spirit energy erupted from him, making it seem as if he was on fire.His hands and feet were covered in a red substance, almost like protective gear. He ran at the Hollow, seeming faster than before and punched it. His fist tore a hole in the Hollow, causing it to howl in pain. He then concentrated, his spirit power focusing at his feet as he kicked a wave of energy at the Hollow, disintegrating it.

"Wow, this is great! Oh yeah, are you alright Ronin?"

[Shukumei Onigata]

After observing the battle for herself, Shukumei walked toward the two clapping her hands wearing a smile upon her face...as always. The clapping was a very sarcastic measure symbolizing how unimpressed she actually was, but she had an ego to babysit as usual. After a few moments the clapping ceased and she stood there with her hands on her hips. She tilted her head back slightly and sighed upon seeing the pitiful sight she witnessed. Removing the white ribbon she originally used to keep her hair up removed. She slowly wrapped it around her right arm while staring at this human and the make believe shinigami. "How quaint, a would-be shinigami saved by that of an ordinary human, how is that for your pride. The nerve of the old man to curse me with your unbearable presence and unbearable ego" She chuckled and folded her arms against her chest. She turned around possibly showing the two the ultimate form of disrespect.

"My last order to you as your captain is simply this, train hard. So that when we finally meet a second time, I will repay you for showing me such disrespect" Shukumei grips her Zanpakuto and removes it from its sheat slowly. She slashes the air, tearing the fabric seperating this world and the Soul Society opening the gate to the Hueco Mundo. Sheathing her sword she turns around and glares at her former Lieutenant. The smirk formed to her lips slowly as she slowly backed into the torn fabric, leaving the realm of the living and returning to the Hueco Mundo where the plots to continue what Aizen originally planned. As she enters the dark plain it closes up behind her slowly before evaporating into nothingness.

"Yeah, I'm fine...."

He shifted his eyes to Nori, smirking. He now had someone to test his skills against to become even stronger. He turned around, hearing the clapping. After he heard his captain's words, he narrowed his eyes. It was plainly obvious she was now an enemy of soul society. as she was about to step through the portal he spoke in a tone not his usual carefree style.

"I see my lazy nature finally got to you. Fine, I won't be lazy anymore, but I doubt you will defeat me as easy as you think. You train as well, it would be bad if you lost easily to me. Ace, let's go, I know a place we can train.... you need to get stronger now.... come on."

Ronin let his former Captain leave, taking Nori to the shop. now that his best friend had powers, it was time to get him to fully control them. He had to find others that knew of his former Captain's betrayal.
