After picking up Yuri, Shukumei stopped in front of the door to the candy shop. She released Yuri's arm and rushed inside. She was frantic and she's never felt this way. She was always known for her calm and collect attitude.
"RYOUJI!!!"
She stopped and hunched over and was breathing heavily having expelled a great deal of energy between opening a portal and rushing here the way she did.
"Yuri gather your things quickly its time that we returned to the sereitei. Something urgent has come up"
Shukumei continued to breathe heavily. She hasn't done anything like that in quite sometime.

Yuri blinks, finally comign to understand that she was moved from the Alleyway to the candy shop in one quick motion. Hearign Shukumei scream for her brother was a bit confusing, especially she she had left him somewhere in town. Since the only thing on her was her camera at the time, she would have to get her and Shukumei's Gigai later. "Uh.. Captain.. You do remember that they're in town, right?" Yuri was rubbing the back of her head, surprised what she could still remember the details. Well, she can't remember things between going to town and ending up here. Shrugging it off, she checked the candy shop just to be sure nothing of hers was here before returning to Shukumei. For the short time she's known the captain, she's never seen Shukumei loseher cool. Would the encounter with Jinkei count?
"What's so important anyway? Seeing you the way you are is making me worry.. What's going on?"

Ryouji walked into the candy shop a few moments later, seeing Shukumei bent over and out of breathe wasn't like her at all and the fact that Yuri was with her was all the more strange. At first he figured that the plan was still in action, but I guess that was not the case. He wasn't sure if Yuri was aware that everything that happened, minus a few details was planned.
"Shukumei...uhh why are you here? Shouldn't you be back with your servants?"
He was attempting to keep things rolling but he wasn't sure if he was believable at this point in time. He sighed and took his hand off of his Zanpakuto.
"Something is wrong isn't it...Tell me what has happened."
Ryouji to was a little concerned, what could the problem be? If she was acting like this it couldn't be good news at all which was something he truly didn't need right now.

Shukumei turned around and placed her hand on Ryouji's shoulder while continuing to breathe heavily after a few moments of panting she stood up and took a deep breathe. She glanced around, looking for Kai.
"Where is Kai Ryouji...where is my daughter! Did you leave her behind?!"
Shukumei was beginning to get frantic again, she looked outside seeing Kai sitting underneathe a tree. She sighed in relief before turning back to Ryouji
"First and foremost I think its time to let Yuri in on whats been going on. It may be confusing for you to understand, but I've been on a mission, discovering the powers of the Hougyoku. Attempting to discover what its truly capable of. I used it a bit to much when it came to creating the Arrancar, aside from Shiva, they do not know their purpose. They were created to help you train for the real fight. The fight against Sosuke Aizen, the former Captain of Squad five...the one I replaced as Captain."
Shukumei sighed heavily she too was worried, she wasn't expecting him to return so suddenly.She she placed her hands on her waist and held them there as she attempted to suck more air into her lungs.
"Ryouji has been in on the entire thing. In fact he agreed to it only because he hoped that you Yuri would grown in strength, but we didn't have enough time to get you properly trained or help you to obtain Bankai. Aside from a few bumps along the road you were almost ready. Its just to late now, Aizen is coming back....and I assume that he is going to resume his plan to overthrow the King. We have to return to the soul society at once and turn over the Hougyoku to the commander"
The truth has finally been revealed. Shukumei was never actually against them, the entire ploy in which she defected to the enemy was an actual mission. Although it ended far sooner than she had hoped, they haven't the choice but to return the orb to the soul society.

Yuri was in shock. The betrayal of his sister was just a ploy to get closer to Aizen and the Orb? she had to give hem credit. They really acted the part. Though she does feel a bit hurt, now wasn't the time to be thinking of herself. From the way Shukumei is acting, Aizen must be really powerful. AT least she really wasn't a bad guy. Maybe things could go back to normal once the whole thing is over.
"Me? Learn Bankai? Thanks for believing in me but.. I'm not sure that's possible.. But that's besides the point.. If you're so worried about Aizen, We should go back now to warn the others. But what if he were to strike in the real world as a diversion or something? Don't we need to cover our bases?" Anything is possible an it would be best to have all options covered. Since Shukumei knows more about Aizen then they do, she would follow her orders. "Oh, what about our Gigais? As far as I know, they're still in the alleyway."

Shukumei shook her head. While Yuri did have a point. There was truly nothing any of them could do to stop him if he did attack the city. Two captains weren't enough, covering bases no matter how good the thought was wouldn't work.
"I wish it were that simple Yuri, I truly do but we were to attempt it he could just as easily come to the town and pick us apart one by one effortlessly. The Hougyoku must be taken back to the sereitei at once, that is the only thing that matters. We..."
Shukumei looked around. Noticing that Ronin wasn't around with the usual group. She didn't forget about the promise to repair him and return him back to normal.
"I have to find and fix Ronin, as much as I hate to admit it, he is a valuable asset to the Sereitei even for a human. Besides I promised I would. He's such a pain in the butt. When he's fixed he better start following my orders without question. Ryouji, Yuri assist me if you'd please. Our spiritual pressures should taunt him into coming."
A promise was a promise, aside from the way he was acting she originally thought that it would be best to leave him behind, however he would never become complete again if she just left him behind. She turned away from the group and made her way to the courtyard of the shop. She looked over to Kai before looking up toward the sky.
Shukumei's body had begun to glow profusely. Naturally she assumed this would be a very bad Idea since it could attract all matter of hollows to their location. In which case Ryouji and Yuri could do away with them if they were to appear.
"Ronin..."

Ryouji followed Shukumei outside and watched as she began to raise her spiritual pressure. He narrowed his eyes before coming to something of a far worse reality.
"Stop it Shukumei, you're going to give away our position. That isn't like you, I know you're worried about Aizen's return. Acting irrationally won't make things any different. If Ronin truly wanted to be fixed he would be here now. Our objective is to return the Hougyoku and we must do that above all else."
Shukumei wasn't acting like her usual self at all. Usually her prowess was to be admired, but perhaps the return of Aizen frightened her, could she, one who has shown in the past to have no fear be truly afraid. Or was she more worried about Kai?
"I wish it did not have to be so, Shukumei but we have no choice but to leave him behind for now. Perhaps once Aizen has been dealt with we can return and fix him. We have to leave now, I am sorry"
Ryouji reached back and grabbed the hilt of his Zanpakuto. He removed it from his sheath slowly before extending it out in front of him. As he completely extended his arm, half of the blade dissolved into as if it was sliding into a key hole. Ryouji turned the sword to the right, unlocking the door to the gate which appeared shortly after.
"I don't like the idea of leaving him behind either Shukumei but it must be done. If there is nothing further, let us depart from this place."
Ryouji sheathed his Zanpakuto before looking at the elevator styled gate that had appeared before him. As the door opened Ryouji narrowed his eyes before taking a step forward. As the bottom of his slipper hit the ground. Ryouji's eyes shot open as he felt an immense spiritual pressure. It was unlike that of anything he's ever felt before.

Ryouji turned around quickly only to see the very individual who Shukumei was frantic over. The very man who betrayed the Gotei thirteen for his own selfish ambitions. The former Captain, Sosuke Aizen.

sensig the strong spiritual pressure, Yuri became frozen in place. She never felt anything this strong and she always believed the Captain twins were the strongest. Could he be here to take back the or just to get rid of them? It's going to be hard to tell. So much for going back and warning the whole Soul Society before he showed up. "This isn't going well.." She was trying to stay prepared in case something were to happen. It was obvious that she was terrfied. after all, she did heaer a lot of stories about the former captain from the Onigata twins. "I..I know you two probably hate to do this ut.. we should.. at least try to get away.. even if moving is going to be hard.."

It was true, the very man who tricked the entire court guard until he got the object of his desire, the Hougyoku. He never truly expected for his return to take sometime, but it was something that had to be done. Now that he has returned, he finds that one of his own was merely working undercover the very woman he trained so that she could one day join him on the path to overthrow the King of the Soul Society. It seems that his plan too did not go according to plan.
"Shukumei, it seems that I under esitmated your ability. I've always suspected that you would go to great lengths to complete a mission. I allowed you to use the Hougyoku for yourself, hoping that the power it has given you would be enough for you to stand at my side when we destroyed the Court Guard of the Soul Society"
His demeanor showed no anger, in fact he was smirking. Deep down Aizen believed that Shukumei knew that there was no possible way that she could ever return to the soul society with the orb in hand. Though Shukumei has always been the type to never surrender without a fight, it was clear to him as to what must be done.
Vanishing from sight completely, Aizen reappears with his Zanpakuto, Kyôka Suigetsu unsheathed as if he had already completed the attack and standing in front of Shukumei with his back turned. He turned around slowly while gripping Kyoka Suigetsu's hilt even tighter as he completed yet another slash across her chest, dropping her down to the ground with ease.
"I will take the Hougyoku back to the Hueco Mundo. However before you die there my former Student I must commend you. Your abilities are second to none and I must thank you for keeping the orb safe"
He knelt down in front of Shukumei as she laid there along the ground. Her body covered in blood while she groaned in pain. With his hand he removed the Hougyoku from her grasp and looked at it.
"It was truly not meant to be this way, You were chosen by me for you showed promise, you commanded respect. Admired by many for your skills. You would have made a wonderful queen"
Aizen raised his Zanpakuto into the air as he stood up. With the orb now in hand he had everything he needed. He brought it down with such speed and tenacity that it seemed that the blade itself vanish as it began to slice through the air as it traveled to deliver its final blow to its master's former student.

As the sword came down toward Shukumei, Shiva appeared kneeled over her mistress with her Zanpakuto turned horizontally to block the attack for her fallen mistress. The Zanpakuto's clashed loudly and Shiva began to struggle underneath the power if Aizen's strength. She grunted loudly and her arms had begun to shake violently as she attempted to protect her mistress.
"Please...take my Mistress and flee from this place at once! I...can't hold him off for much longer!!"
It seems that the fate of Shukumei's number one Arrancar had been decided. Shiva's fate had been chosen and she would gladly die if it meant that her Mistress could go on.
"How I wish I could remain...with you always my Mistress, you gave me life and I will never forget the time we've spent together"
Shiva turned and glanced at Kai who seemed to be watching as if she was lost. She narrowed her eyes slightly as the weight of the opposing Zanpakuto grew expenentially forcing her to grunt louder.
"I never had the chance to do battle with you...like I hoped...I too hope that one day that I would have been able to stand across from you on the battlefield to see which of us was the superior. Take care of our mother, sister"
Although technically speaking they weren't related, Shiva looked to Shukumei as a mother figure and being that they were both created from the same mold, they were sisters in a sense. Shiva grunted louder as she pushed her Zanpakuto upward to continue to by time for the others to escape. Shiva's lifeless eyes floated over toward Ryouji as he was just standing there. The expression he wore on his face was also that of loss, concern and maybe even a little fear.
"Why are you standing there...take her and escape!!"
The weight that she was soon feeling had been lightened tremendously and it was at that exact moment where the opposing Zanpakuto pierced through Shiva's chest. With a gasp Shiva's body hunched over as she began to cough up blood.
"My...mis...tress...I have...always known my fate....a..and I knew...this..d..day...would come"
Shiva's eyes had fallen shut and the weight of her body had soon impaled her further onto the blade. Her Zanpakuto had fallen to the ground. Her life has been extinguished all in the name of her Mistress, the one she loved and who gave her life.

Ryouji could have tried to stop Aizen from harming both his sister and the Arrancar but he felt as if he was no longer strong enough. Just the spirit pressure alone has had him doubting his own strength and abilities. He glanced down at the corpse of Shiva as it still remained kneeled over Shukumei.
"Yuri..take Kai and and Shukumei and enter the gate and don't look back. That is an order"
Ryouji reached back and grabbed Shinkuoremasu and pulled it from its sheath slowly. Aizen...could never be forgiven for striking down his sister and the Arrancar whose only purpose in life was to protect Shukumei.
Ryouji released all of his spiritual pressure without giving a second thought as to who was around. He no longer cared, the only thing he wanted to do was to avenge his sister and ensure that the lot of them returned to the Soul Society without anymore harm.
For the first time since defeating his hollow, Ryouji's anger had begun to surface and even though he was fully aware of himself. His vision began to darken.
"GET OUT OF HERE NOW!!!"
His head shot up quickly and he performed a flash step, appearing in front of Aizen as half of a hollow mask had begun to form around the left side of his face. The laughter had once again returned and the Inner hollow seems to have found away to return to the surface. A hole had begun form in Ryouji's chest and the same substance in which the mask was created began to pour itself out of the whole and cover one small part of his chest.
"Finally its my turn to play and when I'm done with you buddy-boy I'll have your ass begging for mercy. LETS GO!!!"
Aizen tossed the corpse of the dead Arrancar aside and focused completely on the Ryouji's hollow. Ryouji turned around and glanced at the Lieutenant standing behind him. Drool began to fall from his mouth while he stared at her.
"Lookie here a little play thing. Come over here you're captain is giving you an order HAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I'm going to gobble you up!!"
On the inside Ryouji was to angry to overcome his hollow and anger was the only way his hollow could resurface with ease. After speaking to Yuri, Hollow Ryouji turned and focused completely on Aizen as more of the white substance began to form itself around his left arm and shoulder. From the converted area of his back a wing sprouted. In the right hand, it gripped the Zanpakuto tightly before dashing forward and attacking Aizen head on.
Their blades crashed as the current and former captains began their battle. Hollow Ryouji was more than anxious to slaughter something since it has been quite sometime since he's taken pleasure in killing something.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!! Pathetic Ryouji how can you fear this weakling. Don't worry I'll gut him for ya and take over as the new King!"
He was truly enjoying the thrill of battle. As the attacking Ryouji continued his assault, more of the mask began to form around his face before completely taking over. The laughter became more sinister and the hole in his chest continued to spil out the unfamiliar white substance and it began to coat his body in further. A second wing sprouted from his back opposite the first. He hollow opened his mouth and fangs decended. Horns began to sprout from both the left and right side of the mask as it swallowed his face whole.

By the time Ronin had sensed his former Captain, he was back to what the others knew as his normal appearance. He knew it was her way if summoning him, so he decided it best to head to her. He raced toward where he felt her, flash stepping as fast as he could. As he neared her, he felt something or someone he never felt before. He narrowed his eyes, quickly reaching his destination. He went inside, seeing his former Captain. He then saw Shiva and his former Captain's brother. He saw Yuri and Kai as well, noticing someone he had never seen in his life. He shifted his eyes around, quickly getting the idea of what has gone on. He picked up his former Captain and Kai, nodding for Yuri to to follow. He shifted his eyes to his Captain's brother, smirking slightly.
"I've got them, I'll leave this to you but you better not die. I wish to test my skills against yours one day, even if I do lose, it'll still be fun."
He walked away, leaving the fight to ensure the safety of the others.

Upon seeing Ronin flee with Shukumei and the others. Hollow Ryouji began to laugh psychotically. The fact that they assumed that they were going to get away was rather insulting.
"I don't care what you want you aren't going anywhere"
The wings on his back stiffened and he jumped into the air completely forgetting all about the current battle he was going through. He opened his mouth and a ball of red energy began to form. It began to grow in size as he turned and aimed directly for the others as they attempted to escape.
Ryouji closed his mouth and noticed as a black box began to form around him, eventually enveloping him completely. Rods protruded through the outside of the box, Aizen used the Level 90 Black Coffin spell to subdue the hollow. As it vanished Ryouji fell forward onto his face. He remembered how it felt when Shukumei used it and it felt four hundred times worse. Aizen grabbed Ryouji by his hair which grew during the transformation and pulled him out of the sanctity of the Candy shop and hauled him else where.
