[Megumi]

Note: This thread takes place in the future. Yuri will be posting here, but it will be the Future Yuri and not Present Yuri.


Megumi arrived in Soul Society with Ryouji after some time. Everything looked in tact so no major battle must of happened here. With a sigh of relief, she takes Ryouji to the third Squad headquarters, being sure to avoid letting other Shinigami see Ryouji. Once she got inside, she was greeted by her mother who gave her a rather right hug.

"It's very good to see you, Megumi. How have you been? I see that you brought me a very rare guest indeed."

Megumi just giggled as she hugged Yuri. She was happy to see that her mother was alright. Now all she had to do was to go look for her father. After asking about him, Yuri had made mention that he was coming today to check on them. She was rather excited. She found it odd that he wasn't staying here with Yuri, but perhaps it was to be expected since he's in a different squad. Some time later, the doors tot he barracks opened, showing none other than Ronin who was greeted by Megumi with well... a huggle tackle.

"Papa~ I've really missed you! How are you?! You and Mama aren't making secrets, are you?! I dont' want a sibling just yet!"

Of course, she was just being silly. A sibbling would be nice though. Whenever she's not visiting the others in the past, she gets quite lonely. After helping Ronin up and talking with him, Megumi just turned to Ryouji who seemed rather shocked to see her react in such a way to Ronin.

"Uhm.. Mister Ryouji, here's my Papa! I'm sure you two of met before!"

Having followed Megumi back to where her mother and father was. Ryouji stared around at what the future look like. It wasn't much different at all. After seeing his much older pupil and how she and Megumi bonded it made him chuckle...and then came the guillotine. When Megumi introduced her father.

Ryouji's look went from being pleasant to completely mortified almost instantly. He didn't even know what to say...it was almost hard to believe, however he wasn't here for any of that. It actually made a lot of sense...they were in love and all that.

All he could do was rub his head in shock. He was merely in shock that Megumi, someone he viewed as his own daughter in many ways, had a father that he really couldn't stand to be around for longer than he had to be maybe he was different here...then again...maybe he wasn't

"I uh...its strange...here you are in the flesh and I have nothing to say. I do wish to talk to you about something important. Its actually part of the reason I came back with Megumi. I have to let you know up front Yuri. What I have planned is dangerous...and it could very well get us both killed. However I know that you are the only one I can count on to do this for me."

Get them both killed? That was a rather nice way of him saying hello. To be honest, it made her chuckle a little. Of course, she knew he was being serious. He wouldn't say it unless he felt like it was true, after all. Even so, she had no plans in dying when she had to take care of Megumi. Yuri just tilted her head to the side while moving her hand under her chin to think. What does he have in mind that's so dangerous? Then again, his training methods were always dangerous so this would prove to be no different.

"Hm, a troublesome proposition you have given me, Ryouji, but very well. I just ask that you come with me to my office so we can discuss this in more detail."

When she looked to Megumi, she had a worried look on her face. Yuri gave a slight smile, patting her on the head. Megumi was such a kind hearted girl. She would do anything to make sure that she would be alright.

"I want you to stay here and watch things for me while Ryouji and I discuss some business. Be a good girl now."

Megumi nodded, watching her mother and Ryouji walk into the barracks where they then went into Yuri's office. Yuri then sits down at her desk, glancing up to Ryouji who was just standing there. So, she decided to ask hiim what exactly he had in mind.

"It's not often where I get to hear that I'll die. Only one who would say it was Zetsumei. Speaking of which, where is he? Have you also come to tell me that he's been defeated? Also, what do you have in store for us if there's suck a risk?"

Following Yuri into her office. He glanced around, it brought back a lot of memories. At one point in time this was his office when he was a Captain within the Gotei thirteen. It didn't make a bit of difference regardless of the nostalgia, Ryouji was here for business. When being asked of Zetsumei, all he could think about was when Jin struck her down so effortlessly.

"Zetsumei is dead Yuri, she was killed buy someone who we had no idea existed until the other day. Apparently there is another Onigata loose. That was also part of the reason why I came back. Before Zetsumei died, she revealed herself to be someone Shukumei and myself grew up within the rukon district. She mistook my brother and her murderer for me and trained to destroy me and everything I held dear. With permission I would like to traverse the Rukon and build a small grave site for her, where she buried her mother. Despite all that has happened, she was my friend...I know Ayame has killed many people here...however that changes nothing. She was mislead and because of my brother, many people died."

Ryouji folded his arms across his chest as he stared down at the floor. He was still angry about what happened to Ayame, and himself, Shukumei and Yuri. Jin beat them all with ease.

"Enough of that, the reason I really came to talk to you...was to train with you. No offense to my little Yuri, but you have gained complete control of your hollow and you can actually undergo a complete hollowification much like myself. Pretty soon the original six will be launching their invasion of the Soul Society. Considering how my brother thrashed us all with ease, I came to the realization that I am just not strong enough. I don't have much time left, if they are anything like Jin...then we are as good as finished. I can't let that happen."

Ryouji turned his attention to Yuri who was staring at him. Maybe it didn't make much sense but he was getting to the craziest part. Since he didn't have much time and there was no way in hell conventional training methods would work. He needed time to devote to training and a few days weren't going to cut it. He needed months, maybe even years. THere was only one place he could go and she was the only person who could push him to a new level.

"The Dungai...Yuri. I need you to come with me to the Dungai Precipice world and Train with me. Time is much denser there so I could get weeks of training done in a few minutes. I need you to push me. I need to get stronger if we are to have any type of chance in hell of beating the Original six...and I need to go further beyond that if I want to stop Jin. If we make a mistake...if we screw up, we could be trapped there...or even kill each other. Megumi is important to you and she needs to be the anchor in coming back. I want to get back to Shizune and Azumi. What do you say Yuri, will you assist me?"

Yuri leans back in her chair as she listens to Ryouji talk about Zetsume's death. It did seem rather odd why he.. rather she was so strong of her hatred of Shinigami. That explains it then. This Jin Onigata must be a fearsome creature indeed. If such a person exists in the past, he would most definitely exist in this time. As for the training bit, it didn't surprise her really. He always did want to push himself as far as he could, but this seemed a bit too much even for him.

"I do, do I? My, what confidence you have in me."

She wasn't trying to sound cruel or cold. She was just stating what she felt. It is true that her past self has no control over her Hollow, but it felt like the time that she was would be drawing near. So, she decided to ask Ryouji a rather simple question.

"What month and year are you currently at in the past?"

When being told, she tilted her head back slightly. She remembers the time quite well. It was sometime after the twins were killed. Poor Yuri was going to be in a depression that could easily get her killed which can't be allowed. After all, if she does somehow die, then Megumi would never exist. Since she can't tell him exactly what would happen, she could warn him of her past self's apparent behavior once the events have transpired.

"Hm, Watch over her then. I can't tell you what will happen for obvious reasons... But.. Trust me when I say my past self needs to be monitored. Despair can be very deadly if not consoled properly."

As for going to the Dangai, that seemed rather risky in itself. There was no way she could explain that to the Captain Commander. What a troublesome situation indeed. She also saw no harm in him burying his friend. Perhaps it could give her time to explain everything to the Captain Commander to see if she can get some clearance.

"Very well, I will go with you. However, take care of your business first as I need to go report to the Old man.. I mean.. The Captain Commander of the news you told me and for clearance for training. If your brother exists in your time, you know he might exist here. Not only that, if he's as strong as you say he is, then we're going to need all the strength we can get."
