[Yuri Nakayama]

After getting back to the mansion or..whatever kind of house Azumi and Ryouji stay at, Yuri helped with getting the little ones to sleep for their nap. She could see that Azumi was anxious to hear what she wanted to say. It made her smile a little. Of course, it was nothing bad. She's just looking out for her child and making sure that all angles are properly covered.

"Now with them asleep, I can talk to you. It's nothing bad, but it's still serious. I know how much Emi adores you and your family. It makes me happy to see her happy. You know as well as I do that being a Shinigami is dangerous. I want to make sure that Emi is safe. Well, not just her. I want you and your family to be safe as well."

There could be a time where she might not make it back from a mission. She hopes that isn't the case, but one never knows what the future holds. If something does happen to her, she wanted to make sure Emi would be taken care of.

"Anyway, there's something I want to ask you and Ryouji though I'm sure I know the answer. Will you and Ryouji do me the honors of being what humans call "Godparents". I'm sure you know what I mean since you've been in the human world for some time. I know she would be safe with you two."

She could only hope that Azumi would say yes. She had a hunch that she might since she loves Emi so much! Of course, Yuri would make sure that nothing serious happens to her or her father. She just didn't see why it would hurt to have a backup plan just in case something did.

"I'm not going to do anything that would put me in a bad situation. I just want to make sure that if something does happen to me and Ronin, she wouldn't be alone."

[Azumi Onigata]

After hearing what it was that Yuri wanted to talk to her about. She sighed before bursting into laughter while pointing at her. This whole time she thought it was something dreadful, and it was something like that. She didn't mean to be rude but there was no need to ever ask her a favor of the sort.

"I'm...I'm sorry Yuri but...You don't have to worry. Nothing is going to happen to you, because Ryouji won't let anything happen to you. Even when you don't want him there for you, he's always there for you. At first I thought I was going to have to compete with you for his affection and attention. I was wrong thank goodness, it would have been a shame to kill you both! Yet in the end I realized that you're just very important to him, both you and Emi although he'd never admit it out loud. Ever sense he went to the future and came back with that long hair he's been a different person."

At times she even wondered if that was really Ryouji who she was speaking of. He was so much softer and gentler and quiet. He wasn't at all like he was before he left. He was totally different, he even smiles now which is totally un like him at all! Its almost weird.

"In any case Yuri, Should anything ever happen to you, I swear that I will take good care of Emi for you, but you have to understand that nothing will happen to you. EVER! Emi needs you, I could never hope to replace you her own mother and Ryouji could never replace you either regardless of how much she adores him. At some point if you ever reached a point to where you feel something could happen to you, then its up to you to reach down deep within yourself and find that resolve to survive."

Azumi gave her trademark peace sign before standing up and stretching. She turned her attention to the elder Shi and smirked. She saw that Shizune was antsy, downright anxious even.

"You don't need my permission you know, go watch him and make sure Ayame doesn't do anything silly!"

Shizune jumped up and cheered with a huge "YES" chant and vanished with a flash step to chase down her father. After she left, Azumi merely shook her head. Her child was a strange one indeed. Though who could blame her she was just unique in her own special way but that was her baby.

"Now then Megumi! I want you to keep an eye on the babies. They are a sneaky little bunch, especially Little Emi, while she's adorable she's very intelligent for a little girl her age and we all saw how she felt after Ryouji left."

After hearing what her mother said, Megumi wasn't sure what she should say. It was just like her mother to make sure that she and her younger self was taken care of. Azumi was right though. Ryouji wouldn't let anything bad happen to her, and she would make sure she wouldn't either!

"It's not a surprise to me, Miss Azumi. Mama said she was going to ask you and Ryouji the same thing if nothing had happened. I'm sure both Mama's will make sure that everything will be okay!"

When being told to watch over the little ones, it made her really happy. She was going to do her best to make sure they don't sneak out. If her younger self was gonna be sneaky, she would have to be sneaky too!

"I promise to make sure they stay safe. If they do manage do get out, I'll bring them back safe and sound!"

[Shizune Onigata]

When the grown-ups left them alone to sleep, Shizune sat up and stretched, she didn't want to take a nap, she wanted to go see her daddy beat up bad people. After yawning a bit she crawled over to Emi and poked her a couple of times to see if she was awake. They had to be quiet other wise they could totally risk having the grown ups come back to check on them.

When Emi didn't move at first Shi gently shook her to try and wake her up again. She was either really good at pretending or she really was sleeping. Now what was she going to do, she wanted to go see if her daddy was fine and stuff! She hopped down from the bed and dove into her closet, looking for her training kimono to wear. If no one was going to help her daddy then she was going to go. When she found it and changed herself.

"Hang on daddy..."

Shizune raised her right hand as high as she could and used her mother's trademark peace sign while posing semi-heroically.

"Shizune to the rescue!!!"

[Little Emi]

After being poked and shaken, Emi had finally woke up. She actually fell asleep when her mother and Azumi were taking her home. She did cry a lot, after all! she sat up, rubbing her eyes, wondering what was going on. When she looked up, she noticed Little Shi dressing up and posing. It kinda looked like fun!

The little one got up from the bed and quite quickly, appeared beside Shi and mimicked the same pose. She couldn't help but to giggle.

"Cutiness Hewo's to the Wescue!"

Too bad she didn't have a cool costume to change into. She was so jealous! She so had to ask Azumi or her mother to make one.

"Aww, I want a costume too!"

She quickly covered her mouth when she too loud. hopefully no one would have heard her. Giggling again, she took the hero pose once more!

[Shizune Onigata]

After seeing Emi standing next to her she was scared at first because she wasn't expecting it but then she giggled before sitting down on the floor. Now they had to come up with a way to get out without all of the grown-ups and staff people seeing them...but how was the real question. She really couldn't think of anything.

"Aww man, I don't know of a way to get us out...it's to risky trying to sneak out when Miss Lady Emi is wondering around. My daddy trained her so she's like super awesome when it comes to all that shinigami stuff!"

Then it hit her...it was laundry day. It was perfect after all the laundry was done the nice ladies always hung out outside to dry and that would be their ticket out.

"Okay Emi this is what we are going to do! We're going to wait for Miss Lady Emi to check in on us to make sure we are still sleeping and then when she leaves we are going to run to the laundry ladies and hide in one of their baskets and when they take the clothes out to hang-dry we'll run for it. I'll have to concentrate but I should be able to find Big Shi's spiritual pressure, she has so much it will be easy to find her! Then we'll follow her to my daddy and then save the day!"

There was just no way this could fail, this was cutiness power at its greatest level. They would without a doubt find her father and help him beat up the bad guys!
