Emi was really happy that all the fighting was done with. She didn't want Ryouji to get hurt anymore! It seemed kinda weird when Ayame had asked if she was his daughter earlier. Then again, it must have seemed like that when he was holding her. Now that everything was settled, he was going to try and sneak them back into the bedroom without Azumi finding out. The little one could already see the scary look that she and Shi would get. The thought made her want to cry, but instead, she just clinged to Ryouji as tightly as she could manage.
After the four of them arrived at the mansion, Ryouji made sure to look around to see if anyone was walking around or something of the sort. After the cost was clear, they all walked in. After all, if they performed flash steps, Azumi and her mother would most definitely sense it. Once inside, the Elder Shi carefully slid the door closed and motioned her father to go on. It would give her the chance to find Azumi and distract her so he could put the little ones back to bed.
As Ryouji went through the hallways, he was careful to not make a sound and quietly instructed the children to do the same. Emi nodded her head and for extra measures, she covered her mouth with her little hands. To her, it seemed just like a game! They had to be quiet or risk getting caught by the bad guys or something!
With a few turns here and there, Ryouji takes the little ones into their room and very slowly shut the door so it wouldn't make any sort of sound. Ryouji stopped for just a moment before he went to put the children to bed. He had a feeling that they weren't alone and it was making him feel slightly uneasy. That and well, he wasn't sure of where everything was located. Moving his hand over the light switch, he turns it on, only to find a scary surprise in store for him and the kids.
Emi, at the time had closed her eyes, but the light being turned on made her slowly open them. She looked up to Ryouji to see what was going on. If they were being all sneaky, why turn on the lights?! They would be found out!
"Uncle 'Ouji..Why'd you hafta turn on the lights?"
When she looked over to the door, she saw exactly the look she feared of getting. The poor thing started to panic to the point wher she was tearing up and sniffling. She didn't want Ryouji to get in trouble nor little Shi either! There had to be something she could say or do. She couldn't stand it anymore, so she broke down into crying while having her hands near both eyes.
"Pwease don't be mad at Uncle 'Ouji, Auntie 'Zumi! Shi and I were just worried about him! We just wanted to see if he was okay! We..We..were with...."
If she made mention of Big Shi with them, she might get mad at Big Shi for not taking them back! She didn't want her to be angry at Big Shi either! She would have to leave that part out.
"We were hiding until Uncle 'Ouji found us! He kept us safe and stuff! We're really sorry!"
