Bankai [Final Release] Command: Bankai
Bankai Appearance: Tatsumaki splits in to four seperate Harisen Battle Fans which she spin around her body simotaneously in which she uses mind to control them. They often act as a shield to parry incoming attacks if used, however they can also be used as weapons should she take hold of them.
Bankai Abilities: Kamisori-Kaze no Zetsumei (Razor Wind of Death): Is the ultimate technique of Tatsumaki, each of the Harisen fans rotate quickly, forming twisters which roatate around her body. Eventually she manipulates them to form one enourmous tornado with winds that rival that of an F-5 Tornado. The fans are returned to her and once trapping the victim inside she uses her blinding speed to slice her opponent in all different directions before forcing the tornado to enclose and slice through mostly anything with ease.
Biography: Shukumei, twin sister of Ryouji Onigata was born April 7th. She was always a rather tall girl in school and was the butt of many jokes because of her height being above average even for a japanese woman. Even in the days of her life, she was always seen with her brother for the two got along very well, rarely ever fought with one another. She studied several different forms of Martial arts making her very efficient in hand to hand combat and was also praised for being a track star in her first few years of High School in Karakura Town. Despite being tall and atheletic she also was very feminine, taking pride in her hygene and other assets. Aside from her brother, Shukumei has never once been interested or has cared for another male life, she always prefered the company of other females. It wasn't until a male attempted to rob her one night when she was returning home from the market that she realized all men were ignorant and detestable creatures, forming the belief that women are superior in everything.
An accident caused Shukumei to lose her life in the prime of it. After returning home from a martial arts competition, the vehicle she was in reared over a bridge and killed both her and Ryouji. The impact in which she hit the ground below was so strong she doesn't remember dying, however everything that happened after that she remembers perfectly. After her soul was released from its fleshy prison, the Onigata twins wondered the city clueless as to what happened to them, both assumed that they lived through the accident. She returned home only to find out that her mother could not hear or see her. In what appeared to be her first fit of rage, Shukumei ran out of the house in hysterics only to have her brother follow her and attempt to calm her down. Unknown to them a hollow had been following them and was able to corner them and prepared to devour their souls thus increasing there ranks. For the first time in her life, with everything that had happened to her recently in her life, she was truly afraid. However Ryouji did everything he could to protect her but in the end he failed and was nearly turned into a hollow himself to protect her. The two were then saved by who they both know now to be Retsu Unohana, the 4th division in the sereitei. She sent their bodies to the other side. Shukumei was interested in the strength shown by the captain and wasted little time in enrolling in the Shinigami Academy.
Through her trials and tribulation and the fact that she absorbed anything she learned like a sponge, she quickly rose to be one of the prized students during the time she was enrolled at the academy. She devolped and trained constantly. Learning everything there was to know from Kido spells, to even more hand to hand combat techniques. One day while training she began to hear a quiet whisper speaking to her. Little did she know that it was actually her Zanpakuto attempting to communicate. For weeks and weeks, she attempted to communicate with the spirit of her Zanpakuto, until one day while having one of her own sparring sessions with her brother, she learned the name of her Zanpakuto Tatsumaki. It was safe to say she beat Ryouji that day and learned the first release. Unknown to her, eyes were watching in the distance, and it is when she met Captain Aizen for the first time. Having gained his respect by demonstrating her own skill and power, he began to train her as well and all though she never came close to beating him, she felt drawn to him for he showed her respect which was something she rarely got even when alive.
Time passed and her skills grew much stronger and very quickly, earning her notice of Captain's and Lieutenants alike. It was during this time that her prowess and ability for battle granted her a position in Division 2 under the leadership of Soifon. Mission after mission came and past and Shukumei only continued to grow in strength before being considered for Lieutenant, however with no positions available to be filled she remained wih Division 2. For her hard work, Aizen pulled a few strings for her to take a Vacation in her hometown, so she left and was given instructions by her mentor to visit Urahara's shop, which she assumed to be a normal candy store. Upon visiting she was quickly able to tell that it was only a Candy Store on the outside, upon communicating with Mr. Urahara, Shukumei grew far more interested in becoming stronger, so she continued to train. Until discovering that Urahara had created a device which would allow shinigami to obtain Bankai, the final release of their Zanpakuto. Interested and determined she convinced Urahara to allow her to use it. The device forcefully manefested the spirit of her Zanpakuto. Tatsumaki and Shukumei trained for three days non stop until she was finally able to obtain what took most captains a century or more to obtain, Bankai.
While in the human world however, her mentor's plan to betray the Gotei thirteen had been revealed and hatched. In her bag she found a letter from him explaining everything and due to the constant ammount of respect she recieved from him, she was invited to join and to obtain more strength and power beyond her wildest dream. She agreed whole heartedly and was given clear instructions to continue as she was so nothing would go amiss. Upon returning to the Sereitei, she 'learned' of Aizen's plot and was voted most suitable to take his place. With that she was promoted to Captain and took over the daily affairs of Division Five. She was given instructions to conduct a research experiment and so she did, a few weeks later she requested that Ryouji return to the human world as well, always looking out for the younger twin, she introduced him to Urahara and suggested that he too obtain Bankai. during this time she sought out and destroyed many hollows, mainly for what they did to Ryouji although she was working with Aizen. After watching Ryouji obtain his bankai, the two had one final sparring match and because of Ryouji's cockiness, she left a perminant scar on his right cheek. In an attempt to make up for what she had done, she gave him a scarf to wear to keep it concealed and he hasn't been seen without it ever since that day. It was also during that time she came to know who would later become her Lieutenant, taking the place of her current one due to the issues Hinamori Momo suffered at the hands of losing her captain. Shukumei pulled a few strings...deep rooted strings to allow the Shinigami Ronin to become her lieutenant after obtaining accolades and praise. She monitored everything about him when he wasn't in the real world...learning of his power, his strength and the skills he posessed.
Upon learning different things at different times, she came feel that he was no better than the male who attempted to rob her that night as she returned to the market, and she slowly began to distance herself away from him and in time she grew to dislike him completely but with an ever convincing smile she hid it away quite well. She would talk to her brother about it, but with his recent promotion to take the lead over Squad Three, she felt that he did not care and ultimately felt hurt that of all people her own flesh and blood would not care. That was the final straw, it was then she was introduced to his lieutenant after Ryouji disposed of a trouble some Captain by the name of Kurotsuchi Mayuri. She continued to play her role as the ever caring Captain with a smile to die for. As time went on she learned that her brother and his lieutenant posessed the same power and devised a plan of her own to make that power her own. After learning that he did a little research of his own and was returning to Karakura town, she decided to go as well where she later revealed her true intentions and betrayed the gotei thirteen, her brother and her lieutenant.
Now fighting for Aizen, she revealed that she was his forth and vowed to continue his plans at any cost while he, Ichimaru and Tousen traveled throughout the Hueco Mundo. With no true reason to hold back all that she's learned from her mentor, she was out to destroy all who disrespected her and rather than earning it, she would take the respect she feels she deserves, although unknown to her brother, she feels sad that she was forced to betray the one person who was always there for her no matter what the problem was. Although she fights on the side of Aizen, she does not intend to harm her brother and will often hold herself back, to keep from injuring him although she is the stronger of the two.
