Ronin had been on mission when his daughters graduated, having just arrived several days later. He had told them to meet him in their favorite park at noon, and they were late... again. Odds are they were arguing the most efficient route to get there and were at an impasse. Though they were twins, they rarely saw eye to eye. More often than not they were bickering over just about anything, something that drove their mother crazy.
"Those girls... one day they will surprise me and actually be on time for once... If they are on their usual timeline, they should be here right about.... now..."
No sooner had he spoken the words than had he saw his daughters enter the park, in the middle of a heated discussion. Ronin shook his head, waiting for them to arrive at his location.

The girls finally made it to the park. They were both excited, and were talking about how things were gonna go, what kind of plan they should have. While they may have disagreed on some points, they understood where the other was coming from. They were going to do what it takes to show their father how strong they are. AFter they went up to them, they gave him a hug. Soon, Ayumi started to speak.
"Sorry that we were late, Papa. Shi was giving us a list of things we needed to do for the squad. We offered to help keep the headquarters clean, but it took longer than usual to clean up. Who would of thought it was so messy?"
They knew they were going to be at a disadvantage with him know Shikai and Bankai. However, they also knew that he was going to be at a disadvantage as well due to them being able to form Hollow masks. Of course, he should know that they could and may understand how it gives them the much needed extra strength, but the two had each others back. While they are pretty decent fighting alone, their true strength comes out when they work together.
"I hope you won't mind a two-on-one spar, Papa. Ayumi and I do our best when we work as a team. We're okay if you wanna do one-on-one. I just thought I would ask before anything got started. Oh! Don't hold back, okay? We can take whatever you can dish out!"

Ronin hugged the girls, smirking to himself. Unlike most Shinigami, his Zanpakatou was on his back. He knew that they would suggest that they fight him together and honestly, he would not want it any other way. He knew that they had mastered their mask skills, knowing he would have to try to keep an eye on them both.
"It's good to see you again girls, I would have been here sooner, but the mission went long. I am interested to know how much you have learned."
He shifted his eyes between the two girls, making sure he studied their movements. There was no telling what they were taught by their teachers, family and friends. He had to be ready for anything.

After the hug was done, both girls jumped back a bit to put some distance between them. They raised a hand to their face and pulled it down, making their hollow mask form. Ayane used a flash step to close in the distance, their father noticing and using flash steps to go back a bit. When Ayane caught up to him, she swung at him as hard as she could, only for her father to catch her fist. Of course, they skidded back a bit, but they were still standing, Ayane with for another punch with her free hand, resulting into that hand being caught as well. Now, it was a struggle to push the other back to open some kind of opening, but it was a stalemate. Neither could push the other forward. Rather, Ayane chose not to.
While their father was busy trying to push Ayane back, Ayumi took the time to lower her reiatsu so that her father couldn't sense. Even if he could, it would be too late. Positioning herself up in a tree, Ayumi watched as the two struggled still. To make it seem like he was winning, Ayane let herself be pushed back a little, though she pushed him back just a bit to make it seem convicing. When Ayumi had he chance, she muttered the kido for Horin, ensnaring Ronin with the rope-like Kido. She then jumped off the branch and onto the ground, causing Ronin to be pulled back and lifted up off the ground. Ayumi giggled, though making sure to keep her guard up as well as Ayane.
"What'cha think, Papa? Of course, we'd be silly to think we've won now. We're just showing you what Ayane and I can do as a team."

Ronin smirked as his daughter bound him, having known full well she was waiting for the right time to strike. He knew that Ayane was not trying, and by the same token, neither was he. He decided to let things play out as they did, hoping to see the extent of their skill.
"Impressive, you two work well together but you still have a lot to learn. Let me show you what I mean..."
Ronin reached for and grabbed the binding his daughter had him in, shifting his eyes to Ayane as he began muttering quietly. he then used Tsuzuri Raiden on the binds and sent the current toward Ayumi. As the current hit Ayumi, he heard her yell out in pain. As she heard her sister scream, Ayame screamed her sister's name and rush toward her. He felt the binds release him, instantly moving to Ayame and impaled his knee into her stomach. he knew he was being harsh to them, but they would be upset if they thought he was holding back. He knew that they were holding back on him, and he was as well. Once he knew they were being serious, he would start using more of his skill on them.

After the two recovered, they jumped back to put some distance between them and their father. They were trying to think of what to do in order to get the battle really heated. They had a few ideas, but nothing to go much on. When they had something, Ayane gave Ayumi the go ahead. Ayumi took a few flashsteps to get closer, preparing for a Kido.
"Bakudo #21: Sekienton!"
Ayumi placed her hands on the ground, creating a large cover of smoke that encased the three of them. While in the smoke, the twins lowered their spiritual pressure for a moment so they could sneak up on their father. As Ayumi got close, she felt the breeze of a punch, staggering back just a little. Ayane now had the full advantage striking her father from behind and in front of Ayumi who now recited a kido incantation.
"Hado 31: Shakkahō!
As the red ball of energy was fired, there was no way of telling if he was hit or had moved at the last second. Before Ayumi fired, she was able to find his Spiritual pressure and fire around his general location. Only time will tell if he was hit or not.

Ronin had avoided the red blast, perched on a tree some distance from them. Although they were working well together, their tactics were classic Academy. They lacked the field experience to adapt the basics to their own combat style and teamwork. They did not yet know how to make the moves their own, so to speak. It was time to teach them just how to do it. Ronin completely hid his spiritual pressure, working his way behind Ayame. He then fired off a white lightning from the direction her sister was positioned. As the three were still cloaked in the smoke, it would be difficult for them to tell where he was. He was going to see how long he could get them to fight each other, though he figured it would not take more than a few attacks for them to clear it up.
I'm guessing I'm going to need at least Shikai to keep this up, I doubt I will need Bankai, but just in case I will be ready to use it. Now it's time to see how well they adapt to new situations.

Although they couldn't sense where he was, as soon as he fired the kidou, they were able lock in on his spiritual pressure. Ayane was hit by the attack, but was shaking off the pain. Both of them decided to flash step out of the smoke. Their father followed their lead and did the same as well.
"That's good, papa. We're still getting warmed up!"
One sister got in front of their father and the other behind him. The mouths of there masks cracked open. After a few moments of charging, both of them fired a cero at their father. They were keeping an eye on him to see what he does.

Ronin had activated his Shikai, absorbing his White Lightning technique into his claws to increase his lightning abilities. He then used his claws to deflect the attack enough to let the girls think he was hit full on by the attack. He then rushed them while they were debating their next move, pinning each of them by their kimono to a tree.
"Same type of tactic twice in a row? I expected more from you two..."
Ronin muttered quickly, using Tsuzuri Raiden directly through his claws into his two daughters. He knew it would hurt them a lot but they wanted him to give them his best. He was giving far from his best, but he would work his way up to it, seeing how much the two could take. He flash stepped onto the top of a tree, suppressing his energy so they could not pinpoint him. As the smoke began to clear, he saw his daughters slowly begin to get up. He was curious as to what they would do now, as they knew he was not going easy on them.

Everything seemed to be going as they thought. With the smoke still up, the twins were going to do something that was a bit sneaky. Due to them being in their Shinigami outfits, it would be harder for the truth to be known. They took out their colored hair ribbons and quickly switched with each other. Now came the fun part of pretending to be the other. Ayumi, who was now pretending to be Ayane, quickly flash stepped out of the smoke along with her sister. Ayane soon unsheathed her Zanpakutou, holding her hand over the blade. It was giving the illusion that she was about to use Shikai. She even started to release her spiritual pressure to go alone with it. They knew that their father would figure it out eventually, but for right now, they hoped he would only figure it out when it's way too late.
While Ayane was acting as a diversion, Ayumi flash stepped into one of the trees and kept on going up until she was up in the air somewhat. Forming Reishi below her feet to stand on air, she began to scout for her father. While he may be able to hide his spiritual pressure, he can't hide the reiatsu he used to hide. If she could find that track, she could easily find him. It took a moment to find it, but she saw tracks of his reishi, leading to one of the trees. Soon stepping off of the platform, Ayumi launchs herself toward her father, unsheathing her zanpakutou to make a diagonal slash at him.
