Happy Times

[Little Emi]

Note: This is a dream by Little Emi and is no way connected to anything that's going on. Just something fun to play with xD. Also, the only one who has changed is Present Emi. During the duration of the thread, she will be a Toddler at the age of three. All characters (ayumi and ayane, Shiori, etc) that were just introduced still exist.

Also, I have permission to use Ryouji.

It was a nice, cool morning. Everyone was sound asleep though the little one was stirring from her sleep. After waking up, she rubbed her eyes, taking a look around. Everything seemed so quiet, it was kinda scary. After hopping out of bed, she went to go see if anyone else was awake. After all, she didn't want to be the only one up! She needed a playmate!

As she checked each room all quiet like, she noticed that her mother, Shi, and well, everyone seemed to be asleep. Then, she got an idea on trying to sneak up on Ryouji and try to wake him up that way! The last time she tried was with Shi and they were caught so.. she wanted to no get caught this time! The little one just giggled from her idea and snuck into his and Azumi's room.

As the little one tippy-toed over to the bed, she carefully crawled up on the bed and eventually crawled to where Ryouji was resting, having to sit on his stomach. Before she could even say "good morning", he had opened one eye to look to her.

"Good morning, Emi."

She just stared at him in awe. How did he know? She was all quiet like! Still, she giggled, giving him a super big hug! After she got a good look at him, she tilted her head to the side. Since when did his hair get really long? She even tugged on it lightly to see if it was real and when she determined that it was, she stopped. She didn't get it though. Why did he look so.. So different?

When Ryouji sat up, Emi was now sitting on his lap. The poor thing was just so confused right now. She looked up to him and noticed that he had bandages from his stomach to some parts of his face. Did he get hurt or something and she didn't know?! She was gonna have to find the person who did it and make them sorry they ever hurt her uncle!

"Uhm, Uncle 'Ouji? Why do you look so different? Not that it matters though! I still luff you very much!"

Did Azumi know that he looks so different? What if she doesn't and thinks it's some kind of stranger? The whole family would attack her poor uncle! The little one was getting all kinds of scared and even cling to her Uncle with tears in her eyes.

"Uncle 'Ouji! What if they think you're someone different with your long hair and all that stuffs? Don't worry though! I will keep you safe!"

Upon hearing Emi ask why he looked so different. He was unsure of what to say. He's looked this way since he came home all those years ago. Everyone knew he looked the way he looked. So for that reason there was no reason why she had to worry.

"You don't have to worry, everyone is aware of the way I looked, its just you who hasn't gotten use to it yet."

He pokes her nose before picking her up and setting her down on the floor before climbing out of the bed himself. Once he put his feet down on the floor he stood up and walked over to the door. He glanced back at her and tilted his head toward the door, telling her to follow.

"Come on you, I'm sure your aunties would like to see you. They've been up since the crack of dawn beating up on each other. Plus you would like to give them hugs wouldn't you?"

Upon hearing her uncle mention her Aunties, Emi ran past him and outside to find her Aunties and Ryouji followed her to the backyard door and opened it for her. He himself stepped outside and closed the door behind him. As he turned around his sister appeared in front of him, grabbed him and threw him over her shoulder and onto the ground.

"You slacker, you're letting Emi's cuteness distract you from your surroundings! Now get out there and fight me."

He closed his eyes and sighed and shook his head. She knew that he didn't like fighting in front of Emi, she was young and impressionable. She would grow up thinking it was alright to fight and stuff and he didn't want to expose her to such a life style.

"No, I will not raise my Zanpakutou in front of Emi, now stop pestering me and go fight with Ayame, I brought Emi out here to see you two and to play with her while we wait on Azumi to wake up."

Shukumei scoffed and turned to the little one.

"Emi do you mind if your Auntie Ayame and I beat up on Ryouji for a little while?"

Of course she wanted to go see her aunties! She hasn't seen them in a long time, especially Shukumei. Giggling, she ran out the door when he opened it. Though, she could only stare in awe as she wanted her auntie Mei-Mei toss Ryouji on the ground. Scurrying over to him, she looked at him for a moment and then to Shukumei. How could she be so mean! It was her playtime with Ryouji and she wanted him to play, not fight! Besides, didn't he say fighting was wrong and stuff? It kinda confused the little one.

After hearing Shukumei ask if she could beat up her uncle, it actually made her giggle. Someone who could beat up her uncle? No way! He's super strong and all that! If anything, poor Auntie Mei-Mei would get hurt and she didn't want that to happen! Also.. How could Azumi sleep through all the fighting? With all the crashing, hitting, and all that, she would be awake already.

"No way, Auntie Mei-mei! You can't beat up Uncle 'Ouji because... No one can beat him up! Also.. uhm.. Uncle 'Ouji says it's not nice to fight'cause it teaches us kids bad stuff our mama's don't want us to know! So.. I have an idea~ Why don't you play wiff us? Ya know ya wanna! Pleeeease, Auntie Mei-Mei?"

Since she knew Uncle 'Ouji didn't wanna fight or anything like that, she had to convince her auntie to not want to train and play instead. So.. She runs over to her Auntie and clings to her legs. It's not often she tries to do what she's about to do, but if it keeps her uncle from having to fight, she'd do it! She got all wide, teary eye'd and looks up to her auntie while sniffling.

"You don't want me to be all worried and stuffs about Uncle 'Ouji being hurt, do ya? I also don't want you to get hurt, Auntie Mei-Mei! So pweeeease play with us! It'll make me like.. Super, Super happy!"
