A proper Reunion...sort of!

[Future Shizune]

Now that the madness of the Jigouken was handled and they returned home. Shizune reunited with her son back at her parents home. Naturally they were all a little worried especially with the appearance of her Uncle Jin and his cryptic message about someone from the family joining him and his group and being the destruction of not only the family but Shinigami. Now came one of the hardest thing she had to do, introduce her son to her family and hoped that her father wouldn't crush her skull with his bare hands. Since her father was tending to her mother, perhaps she could sneak it out with him hearing.

"Aunt Hina, as you know a lot has changed, well some time ago I became a mother. I would like you to meet him in a official capacity. Why don't you introduce yourself."

Before the boy could speak however, the youngest sibling hopped off of the sofa and ran past her and son and into the back. Shizune shrugged and pushed her son forward a bit for him introduce himself, thinking nothing of it at first. As the boy introduced himself, Shizune got a cold shiver...like someone was staring at her with an icy glare. As she went to turn around, she noticed that her father was standing right behind her. She screamed and fell over onto the floor, being scared for dear life she crawled behind the Emi from the future and hid from him..just like she always use to do.

"Dad...I wanted to tell you but, I knew you'd overreact just like you're doing now. I fell in love and got married and now I have a son whom I've told everything about you too."

Ryouji face-palmed as hard as he could and released what had to be the most frustrating grunt of his life time. He didn't care about her being married or having a son...it was the fact that Azumi was going to freak out that she was a grandmother.

"Your mother will be more upset than I. Its pretty much confirmed now that she's old and with her being a grandmother...she's going to overreact and its going to drive her crazy. You've doomed us all!"

She was worried about him hating her, so naturally everything he said to her didn't really hit her right away, she was worried that he was going to disown her and her son and be really mean. But when he didn't start yelling and breaking things she uncovered her ears and peeked out from around Megumi's Haori.

"Wait...what? So you're not mad?"

Ryouji shook his head. He realized that it was going to happen soon or later regardless. Since he's not there to scare every man interested in her away in her time, it was only natural. Besides she was a big girl now...well an adult. She could make her own decisions as to how she chooses to live her life.

"Are you sure you're my father? No evil glares of death...no threatening to know his name...no evil spiritual pressure of fatherly doom?"

He turned away from her. It was hard to hear that his child from the future was a mother and now had her own son, but the upside is that someone in the family actually had a boy, he thought that they were all cursed to have girls.

"Yes, I'm pretty certain that I am your father, and I realize that its your choice to make. You're an adult was raised without me. Just make sure you'll always be there for him, so he doesn't have to go through what you went through."

Shizune nodded, but he did when he was younger, his father did die, but she was still there for him and she would continue to be there for him and ensure that she would be there no matter what. After a few moments, Shizune stood up and ran over to her father and gave him a big hug. Naturally Shiori who was hiding behind her father's leg didn't like this so she jumped up and climbed in between them and huggled her daddy.

When Shizune noticed she took a step back and noticed how much shiori looked like her when she was a baby, only without the meatballs in her hair.

"She's my little sister right, what's your name?"

When shiori turned around, her eyes had changed and she was using the death stare against the future Shizune. Shizune stared back into the little girls eyes and started yawning before falling backwards onto the floor and snoring.

"I don't remember her suffering from Narcolepsy. Shiori, did...did you do that to Shizune?"

Shiori shook her head and buried her head into her father's chest while giggling. She just didn't want anyone touching him. Plus he still didn't know she could use the death stare and it was her biggest secret...well second biggest secret!

[Megumi]

[this will be a combination post of Future Emi, Present Emi, and Little Hina]

After seeing Shizune hit the floor like she did, she could only stare blankly. She then helped drag Shizune over to the couch with the help of her son, resting her there. Little Shiori had such a glare. It must be something she got from Azumi or something. Whatever it was was able to make poor Shi fall asleep. It was safe to say if she tried to hug him, she'd end up like Shi as well.

"Hehe.. Poor Shi. Anyway, at least now we can have a proper reunion! I'm surprised you didn't reprimand Shi about having a song. Then again.. I guess Mama does that enough for both of you.Of course, she's happy for Shi. Just that.. She's being all strict on me too!"

It wasn't fair, really! Still, not much can be done. Not like she was in a position to date, anyway. Even if she could, her work as Captain would consume most of her time.

"Oh, how is Miss Azumi, Mis.. I guess it's okay that I drop the Mister now?"

It kind of made her blush a little from t he awkwardness. She's been calling him that ever since she was little. It would kinda be weird to just call him Ryouji! It wasn't before long that the Present Emi came and joined the others after making sure that Azumi was resting. It was nice, though kinda weird, to see everyone again.

"Azumi's resting now and should be okay. It's good to see you, Big Shi! I think the last time you were here was when Ami and I were little! Ami, come on over so they can see you!"

She was actually giggling a little. Maybe it was time that the two of them to share something with everyone else though she was kind of scared of how everyone would take it.

"So uhm.. I know! How about we have a huge dinner?? Big Shi, Other me, You have to meet my sisters! Hina should be around here somewhere! As for Ayumi and Ayane.. No telling where they're at!"

As if on cue, little Hina poked out her head from the hallway, seeing everyone there. She ran up to her elder sister, clinging to her leg to give her a hug. She then went over to her uncle, glancing up to see that he was holding 'Ori.

"Uhm.. Uncle Ryouji.. Why are there two Shi's and Emi's?"

"It's a long story, Hina. Let's see how I can tell you this.. Big Shi and the other me are.. Well.. They're just us! Just more..grown up? Just know they're part of our Family!"

She chuckled a little nervously. It was trying hard to explain it to her younger sibling. She'll probably understand it better when she gets older.

[Ryouji Onigata]

There was a lot going through his mind. With Azumi being in the condition that she's in. This thing with his brother still being alive and this unknown faction he seemed to represent called The Jigou. Even after all he went through in the dangai...it still wasn't enough to be rid of Jin. What more could he actually do. Even with all of his strength, he still wasn't strong enough and to be honest he was actually quite pissed. He should have known better. He wasn't any different as far as determination goes. There were times he should have died...but he always found a way to keep going. Though the reason why wasn't hard to figure out. He does it for his family. He took Shiori outside to do some thinking and to let her play around while he sought to make sense of his thoughts.

As he sat down, Shiori found her place in his lap and got comfortable. He removed his Zanpakutou from its sheath and slammed it into the ground in front of him before folding his arms. Shiori took notice of the Zanpakutou and then her father folding his arms and stuff. Was he about to go to sleep or something. She still didn't understand the whole Zanpakutou thingy, only that she could talk with them if she wanted to.

"Daddy, ish everything otay with you? You seem...un-daddy like since we came home. Shiori ish worried about her daddy~"

Ryouji opened his eyes and saw his little girl staring at him with big concerned like eyes and he chuckled and placed his hand on her head. Once she felt his hand on her head, she giggled. That meant that he was fine...at least she thought it did. He went back to folding his arms and closing his eyes. Shiori turned her attention to his Zanpakutou...it was different looking from her older sister's but she liked the way it looked. She's never seen him really use it and it made her curious.

What did the spirit thingy inside of it looked like. She's seen both Shi and Ami's spirit thingies and she didn't like them but she's never seen her father's...or that giant lady's zanpakutou spirit either.

She readjusted herself in his lap and then slowly looked back to see if he was looking. His eyes were closed it almost looked like he was sleeping or something. Now was her chance to see what the spirit thingie lookeded like!

Shiori slowly and very carefully reached forward to touch the blade, but before her little fingers could touch it, she heard her father's voice.

"You know better than to attempt to touch something as sharp as a Zanpakutou, Shiori. You could hurt yourself."

She glanced back at him with a sad look on her face to try to win her father over with the cute child look, but he didn't even open his eyes. How could he feel sad for telling her no, when he didn't even see her reach for the Zanpakywhatnot! How does he do that? She turned around and waved her hand in front of his face and when he didn't react. She got all confuzzled, how does he do that!

She turned around and huffed before sitting down in his lap again. She just wanted to see the spirit thingie. She slowly reached for it again before the back door slid open and the giant lady came out and she was looking pretty mad too!

"What the hell happened to you back there Ryouji, it was like you gave up or something!"

When the big lady yelled at her father she glared at the big lady and pointed at her. She doesn't like it when people yell at her daddy or use bad words. When the big lady looked down at her.

"Don't yell at Shiori's daddy...or Shiori will get you...giant lady...hey you have a Zanpakywhatnot, Let Shiori see the spirit thingy!"

When Shukumei shook her head...Shiori tilted her head to the side. She didn't understand or like the concept of the word "no" this was there first meeting o the giant lady didn't know that Shiori gets what she wants and gets it when she wants it.

"Shiori said she wanted to see the Zanpakywhatnot spirit in your Zanpakywhatnot!"

Completely ignoring her, Shukumei went back to yelling at her brother. Shiori hopped out of her father's lap and slapped her Zanpakywhatnot and it began to glow before Vanishing. Eventually the spiirt itself showed up and yawned.

Shukumei took notice and stared oddly at the little girl with the ability to force someone's Zanpakutou out of its material state. She was...different. That was for damn sure. How could she even do something like that. This child by far was the weirdest of the three.

"How...how did you do that?"

Shiori shrugged and hopped off of her father's lap and ran over to the spirit thingie and stared at it. When she finished yawning and stretching. She flapped her wings and then opened her eyes to see her master and Ryouji and then the little one.

"Ryouji, Your daughter is freaky."

Ryouji opened his eyes and glared at Tatsumaki as she called his daughter 'freaky'. Naturally Tatsumaki always spoke her mind but it doesn't mean he had to like it. But the more she stared at the girl the more she liked her...she wasn't ugly like everyone else...she was different. Shiori smiled as she ogled her wings and her pretty dress.

"Shiori likes you! You have pretty wings and stuff....what ish your name. Shiori's name is...Shiori!"

Upon hearing her speak, Tatsumaki knelt down and grabbed the little one and hugged her as tight as she could. She was almost exactly like she was. She spoke her mind and didn't care whose feelings she may or may not hurt! Plus...she was absolutely beautiful!

"Tell me...how exactly did you manage to force me out into this world?"

Shiori shruggled, she had no idea how or why she could do the things she could do. She was still a little girl, she could just do them. Her daddy said that her cousin Megumi was like that too...doing things without knowing how to do them.

"Shiori doesn't know...she just can! Shiori ish happy 'cause now Shiori has a new friend to play wiff and...and stuff! Daddy ishn't you proud of me...Tattymaki said I was freaky! Ishn't that a good thing?"

Ryouji stared at his daughter as vacantly as he possibly could. The things that come out of that girls mouth were a little ridiculous, especially for a three year old. Ami was the only normal child he had when she was younger. Now this one can force Zanpakutou spirits out of their realm...what else can she do that he doesn't know about.

"Shiori are you able to put on a mask like me and your sisters?"

When she heard her daddy's question, she tilted her head and began to think. Mask...mask...mask. It didn't ring a bell to her. She was told by her mommy to never place her hand over her face because it could give her nightmares or something.

"Shiori ishn't sure daddy...I remember once Shiori put her hand over her face and mommy said to never do it again because Shiori could get nightmares! Even though Shiori ishn't afraid of the dark or anything!"

It was true, his daughter was absolutely clueless to anything and everything she is able to do. Now he was certain that it was Shiori that put the future Shizune to sleep.

"I'm curious, show me what happens when you put your hand over your face. Don't worry we won't tell mommy, it'll be our little secret."

Shiori liked secrets because that mean she could always tell her daddy about them later! She nodded and jumped down from Tatsumaki's huggle thingy and took a few steps back from her father.

"Otay here we go!"

She placed her hand over her face and hollowfied right there on the spot much to Ryouji's surprise. Though she didn't feel any different. nor did anything look different in her eyes.

"Shiori ishn't going to have a nightmare ish she...because that means I can sleep with you and mommy tonight even though Shiori never has nightmares!

Ryouji narrowed his eyes...she didn't even notice that she had changed that much...her spiritual pressure...everything she was indeed much to the chagrin of Tatsumaki...a little "freaky"

Shukumei on the other hand was flabbergasted. Shiori may very well be the strongest toddler she's ever seen...and she's seen all of the little ones. Not to mention she was a little mean on top of that. She was going to be a savage on the battlefield when she becomes of age. After sighing, Shukumei raised her hand and smacked the back of Tatsumaki's head for encouraging the young one to admit to being freaky.

Shiori didn't like the giant lady hitting her new friend so she turned and glared at her.

"Shiori doesn't like it when giant ladies hits her friend...would you like it if someone hit you?!"

Upon staring into the little ones eyes...Shukumei was frozen stiff...it was like she was trapped in a box without a way to escape.

"I..can't....mov..."

Before she could finish her sentence, Shiori narrowed her eyes and Shukumei's hand was forced out in front of her own body. Shiori tilted her head very slowly to the side. Shukumei flattened her palm and slapped herself before dropping down onto her knees. Ryouji however quickly pulled off Shiori's mask and stepped on it, forcing her to return to...normal?

"Did Shiori fall asleep daddy?"

Ryouji couldn't come up with a way to answer her...there was just a confusing silence...he could not believe how mentally capable Shiori was at her age. It was unbelievable.
