Just Another Day

With everyone so busy, Hina wasn't sure what to do. There wasn't anyone to play with. After that strange lady appeared, she noticed how Ryouji and Shukumei have been acting. They're acting very strange and she doesn't understand why. As she went to look for them to talk to them about something, she would catch glimpses of the lady. There was something about her that was scary.. Something that wasn't right. Still Despite that, she would wave at the little one as if trying to be friendly. That's what scared Hina more. The poor thing was actually terrified of the stranger. Running off, she unintentionally bumped into Azumi and fell with an 'oof'. When Azumi saw Hina fall down, she picked up Hina and gave her a hug. She was about to say something until she noticed how Hina was Clinging to her.

"Is everything okay, sweetie? You look terrified."

Hina looked up to Azumi and nodded slowly. She was scared, but wasn't sure how to say it. After all, she's just a little kid. Who would believe her? Then again.. Azumi might.. She wouldn't know until she tried!

"That..That lady who came here the other day.. She's not really nice.. she may look like it.. sound like it.. but Auntie Azumi.. she's not nice! Just like..how Shiori's always mean.. I..Don't know how i know.. I just know! I..I can see it.."

Hopefully Azumi wouldn't think she was making something up. She just felt like she needed to tell someone so they could do something about it! What if that lady was some kind of bad guy that could hurt everyone? She didn't want that to happen!

"I..I wanna tell Uncle Ryouji and Auntie Mei-Mei..but I'm scared they won't believe me.. You believe me.. Don't you?"

For right now, she didn't want to be put down or anything like that. She was content being held by Azumi. She gave Azumi a great big hug and actually giggled a little. She knew she was shhy to be around Azumi before.. but now, that didn't matter. Hina somehow knew everything was gonna turn out okay..or so she hoped.

[Azumi Onigata]

After hearing the concerns of Hina, Azumi stared out into the room where Ryouji, Shukumei and the woman in question were all sitting and talking. She could see that both of them were uncomfortable around the woman. It was just a tad to believable. For instance, how was it that this woman found them in all of the Sereitei, not to mention the fact that the Rukongai were huge. The fact that she appeared out of nowhere and the fact the two of them looked so uncomfortable spoke volumes as to how they felt.

"I believe you Hinata...its just all too...perfect. That's not my jealousy talking. It just doesn't make any sense as to how this woman found them. She made mention that she escaped the Jigou when Jin came here to stop that huge monster thingie. The fact that both Shukumei and Ryouji feel some sort of longing feeling for this woman. I've never seen them act this way. It worries me too. I will talk to your uncle and you can tell him yourself how you feel about her. For now, we have to be cautious. You don't have to worry, we won't let anything bad happen to you or anyone."

When she received a hug from Hina, she smiled and hugged her back and put her in a chair.

"Mmm... its almost lunch time. Shi, Ami, Ayane and Ayumi should all be home soon for lunch and your Auntie Hinako is supposed to be home sometime today too. I wonder if she brought gifts for you girls. You can stay with me and keep me company while I prepare Lunch."

After she was put down in the chair, Hina giggled a little. It made her feel better when Azumi said that nothing bad would happen. She really hoped that was the case. Though, even if she was worried, there wasn't much that can be done until Azumi and herself could talk to Ryouji and Shukumei. Although she was excited for lunch time, does that mean the lady will join them?

"Uhm... Does that mean she will eat with us too, Auntie Azumi? I know you said to be cau..caus..er..careful.. but.."

Before she could say anything else, she looked behind her as she thought she heard some voices. It seemed like everyone was back from their trip! Hina got down from the chair and ran over to everyone, giving them lots of hugs.

"Aw, that was sweet of you to greet us back, Hina. Were you good for everyone while we were gone?

"I was! I was spending time with Auntie Azumi since uh.. Uncle Ryouji and Mei-Mei are kinda busy.. Oh.. Auntie Azumi is fixing lunch..so.. don't forget to get her yummy goodies!"

With that, Hina ran back to the kitchen to sit back in her chair and watch Azumi cook. The twins noticed that Hina was acting somewhat strange, but decided not to ask about it yet and to let Azumi know they're back and they can help out if they need to. Ayane went into the kitchen and saw Azumi busy at work.

Auntie Azumi, we're back~ Is there anything I can do to help you cook?

Following the twins into the kitchen, Ami ran up behind her mother and picked her up from behind and gave her a huge hug. It felt like so long since she's seen her, even though she saw her yesterday...which was why she realized that feeling that way was a little weird. After putting her down, her mother turned around and gave her a proper hug and a kiss on the forehead. She giggled and started to look for Emi but didn't see her. She must be nose deep in that kido book or something. She was such a nerd but still loved her anyway. She turned and waved to Hina before looking for that little monstrous pipsqueak Shiori.

"So Ami how are with you. I'm guessing okay. I haven't heard anything bad. With your sister looking out for you, I suppose I wouldn't."

She rubbed the back of her head. Things weren't bad, pretty good. She was learning something everyday and strives to make her parents and Auntie Yuri proud. That's all she could do or want to do. Now she wanted to find Emi and give her a big hug. As she turned around, she glanced down and saw Shiori standing there. The two just looked at each other.

"Monster..."

Shiori continued her rather evil stare at her big sister. Especially after being called a monster. For once she was going to be nice to Ami and give her a hug and stuff, but now...now she deserved to be treated mean-like.

"Boobasarus.."

Ami's left eye began to twitch as she stared at that spawn of evil. She went to grab her but Shiori stomped on her toes and ran to hide. Ami jumped around while holding on to her foot and struggled not to shout bad words in front of her mother or to lose her temper.

"When you get older, I'm going to show you what its like to really fight!"

Shiori peeked from around a corner and blew a huge raspberry at Ami before running off to continue doing whatever it is that she does when she runs and hides. After Ami's toes started feeling better she wobbled over to a chair and sat down near Hina.

"I wish you would punish her mom!"

Azumi shook her head and sighed. There was no point. Shi was a carefree child, Emi was quite possibly the most innocent and carefree of them all. Ami was always serious.

"You were always so serious and even now you're still serious. Shiori is a child. Ayane and Ayumi were high spirited and a little mouthy too. Hina is the most well behaved out of all of you. She's sitting there being a good girl and Shiori I will admit can be a handful, but she's still a child. if you would be nice to her, she would probably be nice to you too! Just be nice to her. She told me that she looks up to you you know!"

Ami stared at her mother. Did Shiori really say that to her. She was a little cutie. She was definitely a spitting image of their mother. Ami smiled a little bit before it turned to giggles.

"Did she really say that?"

Azumi turned and smiled at Ami.

"No, but those nice thoughts you had of Shiori need to be present more often."

[Little Emi]

After being in her room for some time, she decided to step out and see how everyone was doing.. even if she was still reading her Kido book along the way. It was just intriguing to her that there were so many kido spells.. Ones that the academy used and ones that seem to be now forbidden. It was just all exciting . When she got in the main room, she could smell the food that was eing cooked. She was really looking forward to eating with everyone as a large family. When she got into the kitchen, she closed the book and noticed Ami was there, sitting next to Hina. It made her giggle. When Azumi looked over to her, she moved a finger to her mouth like she was trying to be quiet. Azumi smiled and went back to preparing the food.

Emi carefully sneaked behind Ami before hugging onto her. Well, clinging would probably fit best, but who's cares? It's still a hug!It's been a while since she had seen Ami and well, she just really missed her.

"Long time no see, Ami! Okay, maybe not that long, but still!How have you been?"

It did make her feel kind of sad that sooner or later she would have to go back to the human world, but she was going to enjoy all the time she would have with everyone!

[Shiori Onigata]

When she saw Emi huggle Ami she giggled. As if she didn't know that the two of them were in luff! It was weird that they were but ever sense she caught the two of them making kissy when they thought they were alone was funny to her. She doesn't know what any of that stuff means but it was a big secret. Especially since they didn't kiss when Emi came out of her roomie.

She came from around her corner and stood in front of Ami and Emi, causing both of them to look at her. Emi knelt down and looked at little Shiori before picking her up.

"Hi Shiori, how are you?"

Shiori said nothing and smiled while glaring at Ami the entire time which kind of threw Ami for a loop. What was she up to the little sneak. Shiori turned and placed her arms around Emi's neck while she carried her.

"Shiori has a question Emi-mi! Why hashn't you kissy kissed Ami?"

Ami who at the time happened to be drinking some juice heard the question and spit all of it out, on her mother!. Azumi turned around and glared a hole through Ami which caused her to giggle nervously and apologize to her mother who was at this point scolding her about the wrongness of spitting.

Emi laughed nervously and looked at Shiori as if she didn't understand the question...which she didn't. There was no way she could have known...or could she?

"Wha...what do you mean Ori, Ami and I are the bestest best friends ever. We were born on the same day and stuff. I love Ami, but kissing her would be...weird or something."


Shiori facepalmed and turned to Ami and started grinning again. Shiori knows the difference between a fib and the truth...she tells the truth all the time and people get mad at her for it, if she were to fib, no one would believe her. Since Shiori didn't believe her, she had to be fibbing!

"No fibbin'. Auntie Yuri says its not not nice to fib...you fibby fiber fiber! Shiori knows you are fibbin Emi-mi! Shiori saw you two while Mommy and Daddy were in the backyard Playing with Shi, and Hina! You were like "Ami I luff you!" and Ami was like "Oh Emi, I wish you would come home more often...I missesses youuuuu!"

Emi was...flabbergasted. The fact that she nearly remembered it exactly how it happened, on top of catching her attempting to play it off was good. She was quite possibly the best little spy ever! They were always careful...and stuff!

"You have a wild imagination 'Ori...We are..."

Azumi turned around and chimed in before she could finish.

"You know Emi dear, we all know. Its just your Uncle who doesn't know yet. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to see it. Every time you're here and Ami gets a bruise or a cut...you run over and check on her and patch her up. Its obvious is what she's trying to say. I don't judge you, I think its cute! Before you think that Shiori told us, well we kind of guessed it before she was born, the twins were still babies when we gathered that."

Ami started to blush and covered her face as best she could but there was no hiding the face that resembled a red bulb...or maybe a fireball or even a Shakkaho kido spell.

"Go on Emi-mi, Shiori says to give the boobzilla a kissy-kiss or Shiori will be angry wiff you! You no like Shiori angry!"

Emi glanced over at Ami and then over to Shiori who hissed in an attempt to scare her into not making her angry by doing what Shiori told her to do. Emi giggled and put Shiori down and Ami stood up and walked over to her and prepared to kiss her...

"Hi daddy~"

Ami squealed and fell over onto the floor When she glanced up she saw her father standing there, wondering what in the hell was going on in here.

"Shiami Onigata, what in the hell were you about to do to Megumi?"

Shiori jumped up and climbed up to her daddy's chest and huggled him.

"Emi-mi and Boobzilla were about to kiss because they ish in luff! Ishn't it romantical daddy?!"

Ryouji glanced down at Shiori who was giggling.

"You're three years old, you don't know what romance is and if you say that word again, you won't get a goodnight hug. As for you two..."

Azumi turned around from the stove and approached her husband to defend the girls.

"You better not be angry with them Ryouji, part of this is all your fault you know. Not that their is any blamed to be placed here. Their love for you is so strong that no man could ever take your place!"

Ryouji narrowed his eyes moved Emi a little bit further from him...and naturally Ami.

"Oh its my fault for being so damn lovable! Despite already knowing about it...I will not take blame from for being a good father and Uncle! I don't care that they are in love...I'm more upset that they figured that they had to hide it from me. No matter what I will always love and support them but now...I think I'm a little upset with all of you...except Hina. Hina never does anything wrong."

Ryouji put Shiori down and excused himself and went outside to clear his head. Its really impossible to hide anything, especially since he can be anywhere at any time.

Shiori was upset that her daddy left and turned to Ami and pointed at her.

"See, Shiori blames you for making daddy sad because you're weird!"

[Little Emi]

Although she was happy that everyone had come to accept that she and Ami were in love, she still felt bad for not telling Ryouji. She just had to go after him whether he was angry or not.She then looked over to Shiori and gave a light smile.

"'Ori, if you're going to blame Ami, then you'll have to blame me too. It's not that I wanted to hide it from him.. I just didn't know how to tell him.. I think I'll try to talk to him now."

With that, Emi left to look for him. No matter where he was whether it was in soul Society, the human world, or anywhere else, she could always find him. After catching up to him, she called out for him, hoping he wouldn't leave before she had the chance to talk to him.

"Uncle 'Ouji.. Please wait. I know I should have told you.. Rather.. we should have told you. I felt bad for keeping this from you.. I didn't do it because I was afraid you wouldn't like it for us.. It was more or less on how I didn't. know how to tell it."

She then went up to him and just..gave him a big hug. He's always been there for her as a child. He was.. or still is strong.. He protected her and her mother.. and everyone else. He was the one who set her on the path of her dream.

"Up until the point where you were in the Dangai with Jin, you were always there for everyone, Uncle 'Ouji. Then, you were observant when we thought you wouldn't notice things. During those years you were gone.. we changed a lot. Though.. It was because of you I decided to be what I am now. When you told me "To fight with my mind and not my fists" I didn't understand.. But seeing how you, Mama and everyone else puts their lives on the line just so we can be safe.. it's scary. that's when I decided to be a doctor here in Seireitei. I could help everyone that way."

She then lets go of him, looking up to him, smiling a little bit. Despite the situation, it's all she can do.

"I knew you wouldn't have anything against it because..We're like Auntie Mei-mei. When you came back.. How could we have told you? My sisters were toddlers then. You would watch over them like you did for me. With Hina and Shiori here, you're watching over them. Still.. I'm sorry. Deep down I knew you wouldn't have cared..I just wanted to be the one to tell you."

She had no idea why she started sniffling like she was about to cry. Maybe because she thought she really did upset him that much? Regardless of who said it, it's out in the open now.

Anyway.. I just wanted to tell you how sorry I am for keeping it secret regardless of whatever circumstances there was. I..I hope you can forgive me.. Uncle 'Ouji.."

[Ryouji Onigata]

After hearing the apology. He sighed and placed his hand on her head. It really wasn't that big of a deal to him. They were after all adults now which was still hard for him to grasp. Every time he sees Emi all he can see was the little girl who he held and carried everywhere. Who worried about him more than she should have.

"It's fine. You should know by now that no matter what it is, no matter how big or how small it may be. You know that. I wasn't going to disown you or be against it. After all, I've known about it for so many years and nothing else has changed. Remember you can talk to me about anything...that goes for the rest of you too!"

Ryouji turned his head and watched as Ami and Shizune appeared both of them laughed nervously. Ami stepped forward with her head lowered. She was upset too that he got upset at them, even if it was for a moment.

"Daddy...we did want to tell you. We never deliberately hid it from you, like Emi said we were just unsure as to how and approach you. We're are not as blunt as that little monster Shiori is. I'm sorry too!"

Ami threw her arms around her father and Emi hugging them both. Ryouji returned the hug and pushed them both away. He still wasn't use to all this mushy stuff even though he has shown feelings for quite some time now. Ryouji narrowed his eyes and turned his head in the opposite direction as one of his oldest enemies appeared after using Sonido.

"Where is she Ryouji. Despite my feelings for you, your idiot children and your brainless spouse. I was given orders to help you rid yourself of a certain house guest."

Ryouji released Emi and Ami and pushed them behind him to keep them from being targeted by the one who called herself the savage huntress.

"What house guest and Yuri isn't home yet. I'm assuming she's still out working. Not that I'm going to allow you to go and find her. We still have to settle up from the last time you ambushed her."

Luna scoffed and folded her arms before walking toward him. She didn't care about finding Yuri, she had one purpose and one purpose only and that was to rid them of the one calling herself Isame

"I don't give a damn about Yuri, I'm here to kill Isame...she isn't exactly who you think that she may be. She's after one of your children. I'm sure Jin told you that when you spoke with him last. You've played right into his damned hands you moron! You let her right into your home!"

Ryouji knew something was up with his mother but not that she would be the one to come after one of the children. It didn't matter, Ami was out here with him and safe. Shukumei and Azumi would protect the other kids when she decided to make her move if that move was indeed coming today.

"Ami is here and I'm not going to allow her to be taken"

Ami dropped down onto her knees as her hollow mask spawned from nowhere. Ryouji turned around and helped her up. If her mask showed up from out of well nowhere then that means there was miasma somewhere. Ami took off her mask soon after.

"No one said it was Ami that Isame was after..."

It felt like time just stopped for him at that point. If it wasn't Ami who was physically the strongest child he had. Shizune never had any problems with an inner hollow. Ryouji turned toward the house. He realized who it was...who they were really after and he was in utter disbelief...they were after Shiori.

"No...not..."

Ryouji flash stepped and as he approached the door it was litterally blown off its hinges by a surge of spiritual pressure. Azumi appeared outside while holding Hina in her arms and Shukumei followed soon after. He stumbled backwards a bit before regaining his footing.

Azumi was distraught as she hugged on to Hina as tightly as she could. She didn't even see it coming...they were warned...but they thought it was Ami..."

"Where is Shiori...is she alright"

Azumi looked at him with tears in her eyes. Shiori was the child...she was always the child they were after and now she's...not her little baby but something else. Something much more dark and terrifying.

"Damn it! I was to late!"

Ryouji summoned his Zanpakutou and he went prepared to flash step when he was cut off...by Shiori who was staring down at the ground in front of him. She was literally bleeding reishi... as a spiritual aura appeared around her.

"Shi...ori?"

Upon hearing her name, Shiori raised her head and looked at her father. With a rather wicked smile she stared right into his eyes...and wrapped her hands around the hilt of her blade.

"Hello...Father..."

Before he could even react she drew her sword and slashed his chest deeply, causing him to fall onto the ground. Blood coated her blade as she pointed it down at the ground and stood over her father and tilted her head back, glaring at the others who stood scattered around the immediate area.

[Little Emi]

Emi was happy that Ryouji was happy with it. It just made her that more comfortable with it. As they were pushed away from him after the group hug. she couldn't help but to giggle. The, all of a sudden. everything just changed way too fast. Luna showed up out of nowhere wanting to see their house guest? She thought back to when Jin slayed that creature and mentioned that he was after someone or something like that.

After Ryouji came to the conclusion, it was too late, When she saw and heard what happened, we was scared. Something might have happened to those inside. when she saw Azumi come out with Gina, she let out a sigh of relief. Thank goodness they were safe. Though.. This Aura.. the pressure that was being released.. It was like nothing she ever sensed before. As she looked, she noticed Shiori there.. all grown up. Everything was starting to connect.. Hina made mention of not liking the woman that was brought in. That woman had something to do with it. To make matters worse, she saw her strike down her own father!

"Uncle 'Ouji!"

She had to think quickly. She had to keep Azumi, her sister.. well, everyone near safe and sound. So, she did the only thing she could. It would take a lot, but she had to skip the incantations of the two kido spells she was going to use. So, instead, she made hand signs like Azumi and Hina would do.

Bakudo #63 and 61Sajō Sabaku! Rikujōkōrō!

As the chains and beams binded Shiori where she stood, she knelt down beside Ryouji and started to heal him. She knew she didn't have much time to get him back up on his feet. With as much reiatsu Shiori was putting out, it wouldn't take her long to break free. She was pushing herself and it was showing.

"Hold on, Uncle 'Ouji.. I'll have you fixed up in no time"

Poor Hina was terrified and clinging tightly to Azumi as hard as she could. She felt really bad because she couldn't convince anyone other than Azumi that the lady was bad. When she looked over to Shiori and then noticed the weapon she was holding, that's what made her feel really bad. She just started to cry and couldn't stop.

"Auntie Azumi..I should have tried harder to..warn everyone.. I..I'm sorry.."
