Hina was glad that Ami was fully recovered and back home. It was an intense battle, after all. Everyone was proud of her even though they may not have said it. At least now, Ami has the respect of her Squad. Her mother's transition into her new squad went nicely and things are going well for her. It seems things are finally picking up again.
Hina was sitting in the living room of sorts, just keeping to herself for the moment. Everyone was off doing their own thing so there was no one she could really talk to. Well, there was Ryouji, but for some odd reason, she could never bring herself to talk to him. She often past it off on her shyness, but often wondered if it came from something else. She does remember the times when she was little on how she would ask him to tell her stories. He would often decline and say they could talk about anything until she fell asleep. She was going to have to get over her shyness and figured trying to talk to him would be the very first step.
Hina soon got up on her feet, beginning to look for her uncle. As she looked around, she could imagine herself finding him and having the courage to talk to him. When she did find him, what would they talk about? Anything? Everything? Maybe if she were to practice, maybe it would help her when she actually did find him.
"U..Uncle Ryouji..We..haven't had a talk in a long time..Maybe if your'e not too busy with training or..whatever you usually do.. could we..talk?"
No, that didn't sound right at all. She couldn't say something like that! The poor thing had no idea what she would say. As she took another step, she bumped into someone, being pushed back a little.
"S..Sorry, I didn't mean to..."
When she looked to see who she bumped to, her face turned completely red with a mixture of her shy nature and somewhat embarrassment. Did he hear her talking to herself? Was he going to think of her strangely if he did? Now that her search was over, would she have the courage to actually try and talk to him?
"Oh.. Sorry, Uncle Ryouji.. I was busy looking for you.. Didn't notice you were there.. I uh.. got to thinking.. We haven't had a conversation in a long time.. Do.. you think..if you had time..we could.."
When she looked to him, she noticed how he was glancing at her. It actually made her gasp a little before, well, covering her face like she always does when she gets too shy. Maybe if she just stood there like that, maybe he would shake his head like he always does and leave. As she peeked through a small gap between her fingers, she noticed that he was still "glaring" at her. Hina just quickly turned the opposite direction and left the hallway as quick as she could. When she got to one of the doors that led to outside, she opened it and went outside to sit down.
It took her a while to regain her composure. It always seemed to end up like that. She could see herself in certain situations where she did muster up the courage to speak to someone but always ran away. With a heavy sigh, she looked up to the sky. Other than her "moment", it was a nice day. Maybe later, she could help make lunch for Shi, her sisters, Ami, and her mother or something.
"..Wonder if anyone else heard what was going on.."
