The Danger we face!

[Azumi Onigata]

It was morning. The whole family was gathered. Everyone was here. It’s sad that little Yuri couldn’t be here because of that Arrancar that her husband fought. Today means that they would get her back, no matter the cost. There Azumi stood by her husband, waiting. Azumi wanted nothing more to do this but there was cause for concern from everyone except Shiori and Ryouji. Ryouji trusts her and believes that she is doing the right thing. Shiori was thinking differently as she always does. She just wanted her mother to be alright.

“Don’t worry Shiori, out of everyone that is worried, including your father and aunts and even your sister’s, I am glad that you are the only one of my kids who actually has the nerve to say something.”

Azumi hugged on to Shiori, and kissed her forehead before letting her go. She walked over to Ryouji and wrapped her arms around him. He placed his arms around her and sighed.

“Are you sure about this? No matter what choice you’re making , I am with you all the way! You know what you are choosing to do.”

Azumi smiled and kissed Ryouji. It was like the time she told him that she was pregnant with there very first child. They were a hell of a lot younger then, that’s for sure, but she knew that she was making the right decision.

“I know that I am making the right decision.”

Shiori got this weird feeling all of the suddenly. She glanced around and walked towards the room where they would all eventually gather. She found Shizune and sighed.

“Are you seriously pregnant?!”

[Aysa]

Aysa had gathered where the others had as well. Things looked like they were coming along well. While at first she seemed nervous about the whole thing, she decided to trust Azumi's judgment and course of action. Soon, all they would have to do is find Yuri and bring her back.

Then, when she heard Shiori ask her question to Shizune, she was both shocked and happy!

"Is it true, Auntie Shi? Congratulations!"

[Shizune Onigata]

So the secret that she had was out. Of course she can’t keep anything from Shiori, absolute nothing escapes her and she just so happens to have brought Aysa with her. No one hides the truth from Shiori, no matter what it is.

“Keep your voices down! This is a secret you know...well it’s not really a secret still I don’t want everyone to know!”

To be honest, Shi was actually quite honest about her pregnancy. She was trying to keep it a secret from everyone else in the rather illlustrious clans from finding out.

“When everyone leaves and goes home, I will tell tell Yuriko and every one in our immediate faimily then. Just keep it a secret, can you do that for me?”

Shiori looked over towards Aysa and then sighed. Shiori nodded and sighed one after the other. Before she eventually figured this out as well, Shi had some more news.

“So you don’t figure it out later on, mommy and daddy already know. I was waiting to tell everyone else!”

There was a shocker. Shizune was the type to be up front about everything! She remembers how hard it was if her future self to tell her father, she wasn’t going down that road again.

[Aysa]

Aysa would give a nod when Shi made mention about keeping what they found out a secret. After all, it wasn't her place to make mention of it, anyway! Even so, she was really excited for her. It means another addition for the family! Seems like that the family just keeps growing and growing. That means that they had to get Yuri back no matter what so she could welcome the little one to the family!

"I won't say anything. Just be sure to be careful, okay?"

Well, that went without saying. She knew Shi would be as careful as she could. Wouldn't want anything to happen to her!

[Shiori Onigata]

Shizune smiled and hugged Aysa tightly. She was certainly happy, and the fact that she told mom and daddy instantly was good. In fact, it was perfect although she could have used her help in training Mikasa.

“Very well. Honestly you are the coolest sister ever, I am happy for you and uh...that guy.”

Honestly she didn’t remember the guy’s name. Honestly she doesn’t remember future Shi’s husbands name is. She couldn’t care less to be frank. Well in any case, she would leave her alone.

“Come on Aysa, lets leave her be for now. Since she is pregnant, if she needs help, you can help me. There are two conditions. One is you can’t tell anyone anything about it. Two is I want you and Saya to help me train Mikasa. Truth be told, I could use the help.”

Honestly She could handle everything on her own well enough, but rather than worry about her grandmother, Shiori really wanted her to stay busy. When the time comes for them to meet her, she has no doubt that the cousins would be there and have her back.

[Aysa]

Aysa returned the hug, having a small smile. Then, her attention turned to Shiori and gave a nod. She would be glad to help although she wasn't sure how much help she would be. Then again, it would probably serve as a distraction of sorts even if it made her feel guilty in some ways. Regardless, she would try her best to help out in any way that she can.

"I'll try my best. I know Saya would do the same as well."

In some ways, she felt both excited and nervous. It was a weird feeling, that was sure. Anyway, she was also kinda looking forward to it. She always enjoyed when she could be around Saya. They made a good tag team! However, that meant they couldn't go too full out on Mikasa.

"Alright. Let's get going!"

[Shukumei Onigata]

Shiori and little Aysa left Shizune behind in the room where she was. She was very happy for her sister. Shiori was officially becoming an Aunt, present tense of course. That’s when she felt her Auntie and her sister coming in! Shukumei, Ami and Rin where coming down the ladder.

“Sorry we’re late. Just wanted to get Rin so we could make it here on time.”

After the hugs were passed around and all of that, they were talking and waiting on the the guest of honor to appear. That’s when the bad stuff started happening. What most people would apologize for, the twins did not. They stared at each other.

“Watch it Ryouji, I am trying to be respectful!”

Ryouji who was simply trying to ignore her, couldn’t ignore her any longer. It wasn’t long before they were face to face with each other renewing the sibling rivalry. One has to figure that it has to be serious if Rin was getting between them to keep the peace.

[Aysa]

As odd as it seems, it was rather humorous to see the twins wanting to fight one another. However, that's not why they were gathering here today. Maybe when things are a bit better, the two could go head to toe with everyone cheering and... Well, that's something to look forward to once everything is said and done.

"Come on, you two. Now isn't the time for any kind of antics. We've got something important we've gotta get taken care of first. Thing is, it feels like we have little time to get everything done."

Shiori was expecting her and Saya to help with the training but how were they going to cram everything in a short amount of time. It was then that Ryouji decided to speak up. He knew exactly the place.

"If you're looking to get something done quick, I know a place that you can."

After some explaining, both Aysa and Saya gave a nod. It sounded too good to be true, actually. Regardless, it was better than doing nothing! Saya also looked like she was already to get things started. Aysa chuckled and shook her head from side to side. She could feel the excitement as well since she was feeling it herself even if she wasn't outwardly expressing it.

"It'll be fun sparring again with you, Saya. It seems like forever ago since the last time! What better timing to train in our other specialty."

Well, it's not like they don't know they were half Quincies but she felt like trying to be mysterious! Which was a good sign as she was focused on the task at hand and not just on her grandmother. With that, it was time to head out and get things taken care of.

[Mikasa Higurashi]

Today was the day! The day she would finally become a Shinigami. She placed her backpack down in her room and then rushed downstairs and out the door again. Mikasa found herself running as fast as she ever has before. She was happy that she was getting a chance to help out, but she was also afraid. She didn’t know what she would be facing.

Honestly she didn’t know anything about any of this kind of thing. What mattered is this! After today, she would be able to walk along side Lady Azumi.

Meanwhile, back at Urahara’s Shop half of Azumi’s family was holding Ryouji back and the other half was holding Shukumei, and like always there was Azumi, caught in the middle. Saya and Aysa were amazed; Ryouji has been through literally hell, Shukumei has been through hell and they still have room for a make believe rivalry?

For what? Absolutely nothing! Thank god they aren’t like that from the future...granted no one was like that in this era except them! At least it was humorous!

Mikasa finally ran into the Candy shop, and told them that she was here, She was shown the way down the ladder, and she was right there standing in front of Lady Azumi.

“Sorry for making you all wait for me. I’m Mikasa Higurasi.”

She bowed her head to show proper respect but Azumi stopped her. Azumi stepped close to her and smiled. She could not be any happier that she finally gets to transfer her powers.

“Well are you ready to receive the power of a Shinigami? You can’t go back if you accept them”

Mikasa nodded and simply said that she was ready. Azumi swallowed a pill and was immediately transformed into a Shinigami. She placed her sword at Mikasa’s chest. Mikasa’s hands gripped the blade. She nodded and took the sword and impaled herself and thus began her transformation. Once the light faded, Mikasa stood as a Shinigami.
