Emi was currently pulling a shift at her clinic. Well, more like a private shift of sorts. Her mother came to her saying she was having a hard time sleeping because of what she went through and nothing she has tried in the past was working. She had put her in one of the back rooms to help her get the much-needed rest she deserved. It was getting a bit rough as her mother was only able to sleep for a couple of minutes before waking up in what appeared to be pure terror. She left her alone for a bit as she went to her office to think of something she could do for her. She would then start to pace from one side of the room as she thought. There had to be something she could do. Eventually, she would sit down at her desk, letting out a sigh. Maybe she was thinking too hard but... She couldn't be so sure. All that she knew is that she wanted to help her in any way that she could.

The work was never done. It felt as if they would be here forever. That was the life of a doctor, but with her large family being as big as it was, having her and her sister Yuriko and her Sister-in-law Emi with her at every turn, she would never get lonely or bored! God how long have they been doing this now close to ten years? The need to get out and have some fun! Well they could but her favorite person in the family is having trouble sleeping. Personally when anyone in our family is having trouble sleeping she would simply recommend that they do something else to take their mind off of whatever they are thinking of end it would work sort of, but this was her Auntie Yuri, she would have to be the best doctor ever!
It sort of bothered her, it usually means that something is going on somewhere. That’s how she chooses to look at it. That’s neither here nor there. The point of her feeling this way was supposed to be normal and she was attempting to always be helpful. Such is the life of a doctor. The crazy schedule would be the death of her!!
“Hey Shiori! Can you come look at this please. It’s in reference to your favorite person ever!”
Shiori put on a brave face and rolled her chair over toward Yuriko and was shown her aunties brain scans and she moved next to Shiori and prepared to speak, Shiori instead spoke for her.
“Yes, yes I see. This means that if we can some how lock up the memories from that part of her memory she might be able to forget and eventually go to sleep. That doesn’t mean something isn't wrong.”
Yuriko nodded. Somehow she forgot her sister is Psychic, or something close to it. Shiori wasn’t wrong though, what would her Auntie do? Would she tell them to go ahead with the procedure or wait.
“We have to go see mom and dad. Not only will it be good to see them but you already know Emi wants to go. You know how she is when we mention dad. I’m shocked she isn’t packing right now.”
Shiori nodded she hasn’t seen her mother and father in years! Plus it would be good to visit get everyone together for a family visit.
“Alright, you’ve convinced me. Let keep it hushed for now. I don’t want Emi to know just yet!”
At least she hopes it could be a surprise for Emi, even though when they even thought of saying something to her about her father she already knew about it. It’s practically impossible to surprise her.

Emi left her mother in the room she was in to go see if the results were back in. As she walked, she was trying to think of ways that might be able to help although there were some she had no idea if they would work or if her mother would be up for it. Might have to make a convincing case. Still, she would do whatever she could do to help.
Once she was at her destination, she went to knock on the door but stopped as she heard a conversation going on. She couldn't quite hear everything, but heard enough to get the gist. It was about time someone said something about going home! It's been forever since she saw everyone! So, she quickly entered the room, and in her excitement said: "It's about time! I thought neither of you would mention about going home for a break!"
Eventually, she did regain some composure, getting to the reason why she even came in the first place. "What's the results? Is there anything we can do to help Mama?"

How did she possibly hear them, they were quiet! So much for them making it a surprise for her. Not only that but considering where she heard them from while speaking quietly, she could practically hear them speaking about it from down the hall or wherever Emi came from. The cat was out of the bag so to speak, they were going to where her parents were staying and for what it was worth, she was totally excited! Shiori picked up the phone and began to tell her sister’s where the were going Shizune, the eldest was excited. Encase it was forgotten about, Shizune or Shi as they called her was supposed to have a boy as her first born child but she had a girl!! It was strange but the one thing she couldn’t get right. Not to mention Shizune, the future version of herself had a boy Ryousei. Lucky for her, he preferred to live the quiet life with his wife and child.
Shizune was on board for a visit, she obviously missed her parents! Then there was Ami who happened to be married to Emi. Yes Emi and Shiori were sister-in-laws and not actual cousins but they use the uncle and aunt names to sound more sincere. The point was that Emi was going to tell Ami so that makes her load a little lighter! Then there was her adopted sister Emi who was actually older than future Shizune. Timelines are confusing but they exist! She was coming too or so she hoped. The point being was that the trip was going to happen!
“I wonder if Saya and Aysa would like to come too? There is only one way we would find out.”
This means that they would have to go to the future timeline to see if they would comeback to surprise her parents.

Emi chuckled when hearing on if Saya and Aysa would want to come along. The answer was totally obvious but it wouldn't hurt to go see them! She was sure that Ryouji and everyone else would be excited to see them just as they're excited to finally be going home for a while. However, as much as she wanted to get things underway, they still had her mother to take care of. Speaking of, there was something she wanted to tell Shiori."Mama said she wanted to speak to you. She has decided to go with the option you gave her. It took a bit of convincing, but she has finally agreed to it. I'm thankful for that."

Shiori spit out her water all over Yuriko when she heard the news. Emi just brought her quite the greatest news she has ever received! Shiori just wanted to help her Auntie feel better, and she would. Of course she was a little nervous but when it is time for her to perform the procedure, Shiori would give her all. Her Auntie Yuri wanted to speak with her first however. Shiori stood up and walked back and forward repeatedly, thinking. Yuriko wiped her face while staring at Shiori, clearly she needs stop sitting near her when she is drinking water.
“Whatever could you be thinking about Shiori? You are aware that since it is a surgery, we have to do this at the Karakura Town hospital. It’s also were mom and dad stay so it’s a really a good idea!”
When she heard there was another reason that they had to visit her parents. Never mind the fact that Yuriko was making fun of her for spitting water at her while she was shocked. In any case she apologizes for accidentally spitting water on her. Shiori left the room and knocked on the door way down the hall and when she got an answer, she opened it.
“Auntie Yuri is every thing alright. I heard that you wanted to speak with me?”

Yuri looked over to the door as it opened. It looked like Shiori came alone which was fine and probably would work out for the best. Once the door was closed, she would begin to speak.
"Yeah. I just had a few questions about the procedure. It's... Not that I don't have faith in it. I'm probably being overly paranoid. Once it's done, there's no way for the memories to come back?"
This caused Yuri to rub at the back of her neck. It was obvious she seemed extremely uncomfortable about talking about it. Even so, she knew she could trust Shiori to divulge this information.
"During the time of my captivity, I had... Had to do a lot of things I didn't want to do. I had to if I wanted to survive. I'm not proud of it and that's the cause of these nightmares. I just... Want everything from that time to be gone. As silly as this is to say, that's one of the main reasons I want to retire from being a Shinigami. I'm... Terrified of having to see him again. I know I have you, Ryouji, and the others, but... You have no idea how cunning and manipulative Teleres can be. "
Just even mentioning his name made her shiver. She wanted to be free of him so he would no longer have any kind of power over her.
"I... I don't care how it's done. Just... Help me seal those memories so they'll never come back. Even if I were to change my mind or if there's any chance of remembering, stop me. "

Upon hearing how sad her Auntie was when speaking about her past experiences with an Arrancar called Teleres or something, Shiori wishes she could go back in time to finish that jerk off for hurting capturing her and torturing her to the breaking point. Shiori places her clipboard down and hugged her incredibly tightly. She wanted her Auntie; her hero to be alright but she wasn’t wrong.
Little did she know that she was nearly choking her Auntie and let her go. She immediately apologized and swore to only hug her when the time called for it. Incase it was forgotten about Shiori was the strongest in the house by far. That’s not a promise like she was making it her mission to get stronger, she is the strongest! She even makes Kenpachi Zaraki look tame in comparison. They spar together at times because it’s fun.
Shiori kicks let legs. Not because she was bored, she was actually happy. It isn’t every day where you can be glad your favorite person was talking to you. Granted they are only related through marriage. Her older sister Ami married Emi. Ami was also a Captain in the Gotei Thirteen. That’s beside the point, what really matters is that Shiori was going to do her very best in the procedure.
“Don’t worry, tomorrow is a big day for all of us! I will do my very best to be the doctor you need me to be! Then we are going to my mommy and daddy’s home to visit!!! I am happy and excited and nervous... but come tomorrow morning I will be ready.”

Yuri gave a small chuckle. That is, after she could breathe a little bit. Shiori did seem really excited to see her parents again. Yuri was as well even if she didn’t show it. She had gotten used to a stoic disposition as she wasn’t too keen of showing any kind of vunerablility to anyone. However, that became hard to do with certain members of her family.
“I have faith in you, Shiori. As for your parents, I’m looking forward to seeing them as well. It’s been a while, after all. It’ll be nice to have a get together like we used to do. You guys all packed and everything?”

She was happy that they would be going home however, there was still some stuff that they would still have to discuss. For one they would have to discuss where they would have the procedure. What time was the procedure? Shiori guessed the time or the place didn’t matter but she did want to discuss what was going to happen tomorrow.
“Alrighty Auntie Yuri here is the rundown, we shall set your procedure for Eleven A.M. tomorrow morning. Since you aren’t being opened up or anything of that nature you can still eat and drink.”
Shiori was still uncertain as to how the would go about the surgery and then she had an idea. What if she were to go under hypnosis. She was going to have to come up with a safety word of some sort. It would be set to something that Shiori never says. Why would she say it?
“Having some time to think about it, I have decided to hypnotize you. What i am going to do is to lock your memory away behind a safe word, something that I hardly ever say and lock it behind a phrase that I have to say in order to get you to think of them again. How does that sound?”
The only thing left for her to do think of the phrase that will only be said by her only once. Shiori really had to think what was a phrase that she hardly ever said.
“I honestly have no idea what I could say as a trigger word. Um how about Gunny Bunny?”
Suddenly we are taken to a planet deep in space. To a planet full of men and women who march under one ruler. Suddenly a sneeze could be heard followed by a woman shouting at the man who sneezed. “Cover your mouth when you sneeze, dummy!!”
Shiori turned toward her Auntie while waiting for her to answer.

As Shiori spoke, Yuri nodded as she listened. The requests seem easy enough. The thought of hypnosis did seem interesting and at least Shiori would be the only one who would know the word and was the only one who could make it work. She didn't mind as long as things would hopefully go back to normal after that. Then when she had spoken the word they were... taken somewhere else? It was obvious she was dumbfounded and confused. "What... just happened?"
For now, she would cock her head to the side, not quite sure she wanted to know at this point.

Shiori could only stare at her Auntie Yuri oddly. She has been waiting for her to answer her question for hours and she got an answer. Auntie Yuri must be really bothered by her not sleeping as she should! The only thing she could do is hug her (gently mind you) and tell her that everything was going to be okay.
She assumed that the word Gunny Bunny was good and so it would be the word used in the procedure tomorrow. She was also worried that her Auntie keeps staring off into the distance like she is seeing something but it’s nothing. They are just in clinic.
“What on earth are you staring at? You must be feeling worse than I thought. We are going to the human world tomorrow. You just have to wait until then. Now go home and try to rest. It’s going to be okay!”
Honestly she really hoped she would be okay. The poor thing was literally staring off into space. Now she couldn’t be nervous because her Auntie’s sleep schedule depending on her!
