We have a problem!

Now that they were done with all of their hospital assignments. Shiori, Yuriko and Megumi could visit her parents place and have some time off! Finally Shiori was going to see what her parents were up to since moving here so many years ago and not telling them anything! They were okay after all but they still could have told them instead of that silly note they left.

=======Enter Flashback=======
It was early morning and luckily for her she had the day off. She sat up in her bed and her pulled her covers down and a note fell down. Shiori grabbed the note. “Dear Shiori, your father and I have left, good luck!!” At the bottom of the note her mother had a drawing giving the classic peace sign that her family was known for.

Luckily, everyone had a feeling that they were going to leave so it wasn’t a big surprise. What was really shocking was that she just gave up on her Auntie Kaori, she just left. She was a little sad but she got over it rather quickly. Besides, she had her favorite Auntie with her so it was okay! Plus taking care of the family estate, and managing finances were rather easy with Hina around!

All in all, Shiori was excited all the same she gets to she her parents!! After driving for forever the car came to a stop! When she opened the door she got out and was shocked that the house was almost like their home in the soul society!! Shiori was rather shocked, how can they have a house this big and they didn’t even know about it!!

Anywho after the four of them gather their things and approached the door and knocked. The door was answered by a maid if you will. She gathered their bags for them and moved aside so they could enter the home without delay.

Once inside the walked down the hallway and entered the home which was awesome! Suddenly her sister Shizune who give her a hug!!! Shi has missed her so much!! Then Ami showed up to surprise Emi. They go further into the home and find her mother inside the kitchen cooking.

Her father approached her and went in to give her a hug but she was cut off by Emi shouting and running for her Uncle ‘Ouji. However she was instant cut off the hug by her mother Yuri who proceeded to tackle-huggle Ryouji and not let him go!!!

“Auntie Yuri, do you mind letting him go, I kind of want to hug my own dad. If you don’t mind.”

Yuri says no and continues to huggle Ryouji to the point of her father passing out. There was something weird. Usually it was Emi on her father hugging him like there was no tomorrow, but now it was Yuri. Shiori had to think for a moment but then her eyes widened!

“Oh my god, I messed up the procedure!!!!”

It was something Yuri couldn't quite explain not did she seem to mind that it could be slightly embarrassing. Well, probably more than that but that didn't matter for the time being! She was quite content with hugging Ryouji. In honesty, she felt better. In fact, she felt like she may not have to retire after all.

"Aw. I guess I didn't realize how hard I was... Well, still hugging him. I wanted to tell him I think I will hold off on retiring for the time being. What would I do with myself if I wasn't working? Gotta stay busy, you know!"

She still had time to decide one way or another so there was no rush at all. After all, she did have a procedure so it would only be natural to relax and heal up before making any kind of decision. Then, she had a feeling she was being stared at and responded by tilting her head to the side.

"Uh, why are you guys staying at me like that? Did I do something strange? Said anything weird? I'm a bit confused, here."

Shiori was just shocked. One would say beyond shocked. She couldn’t believe that her sweet Auntie Yuri was going to pose a serious problem for her father. Not only that, but Emi was frustrated that she couldn’t be the one to huggle her dear “Uncle ‘Ouji”. She really couldn’t see what could have possibly gone wrong with the procedure. The youngest sister Yuriko was just happy to be home again. It wouldn’t be much of a trip home with out her dad being passed out on the floor do to someone hugging him until he passed out. That poses the serious question…what are the going to do to fix her.

“Since dad, is passed out, what are we going to do to fix this problem? Shiori, Emi…hello?”

There was simply no answers to be found or rather heard. When Yuriko looked to the two of them, Shiori was looking as if she has seen a ghost, and Emi was looking mad still because she didn’t get to hug her dad. She shakes her head and sighs. Looks like she would have to come up with a plan to help fix her Auntie Yuri’s problem.

Azumi takes it upon her self to go to where Emi was standing and hugs her. This was the first time that she lost out on hugging Ryouji for the first time since she was born! She knows that Ryouji would seriously be disappointed that he couldn’t hug daughter-in-law. Emi is his favorite after all. She pulls on Emi’s arm and takes her over to the kitchen.

“Come on sweetie, I will make you some tea! You can tell me what you all have been up to. I would ask Shiori, but that would be quite impossible to do at the moment.”

So everyone left Ryouji and Shiori right in the positions they were in…passed out and utterly shocked! It was good to be home!!

[Little Emi]

Emi gave a nod and followed Azumi to get that tea. Along the way, she was trying to ponder what could have gone wrong. They were careful in th procedure. What if nothing did go wrong and it just went that well to where she could have just regressed? It was just puzzling to her.

Time passes and Emi took a small sip from the cup. It did make her feel somewhat better. In fact, it gave her an idea to guarantee to make sure ah gets to huggle Ryouji! If all else fails, a simple binding kido will do!

"I wonder what happened to cause this situation. Shiori and I made sure to be very careful. I just don't understand."

The things those two would go through to try and understanding what it means to be doctors and help patients out is maddening but without doctors where would they be? Honestly, Azumi didn’t know but she would be happy either way. It didn’t bother her in any way, she was just happy for the two of them, well three of them if you counted Yuriko!

“The more you attempt to think and figure out problems, then the more problems you have to solve. There is nothing wrong with that in particular,, but you can’t waste time in worrying about the little things. The important thing to remember is that we are grateful that Yuri is alive and well! That is what you have to remember!”

Azumi knows exactly what they are going through Though she wonders how her sister is doing…there was a time where she would have gone to see her but that time has come and gone now. They are glad to have Yuri back. With them and things are back to normal…sort of. Things were always normal..sort of..

Azumi placed a mug full of tea in front of Emi and moved it closer to her. She poured one for herself and sat down across from Emi. It was at that exact moment she remembered that she had to ask Emi for a favor.

“I have a small favor to ask of you. Do you mind going to the Market in town and dropping this off for me? You can take Shiori with you if you want some company. I think she can use a bit of a break.”

Emi would give a nod, smiling as she did so. She would do just that. She carefully picked up the mug, waving to Azumi, heading out once she found Shiori. The two would talk amongst themselves, giggling now and then. They were just enjoying themselves!

"Even if something happened during the procedure, I'm happy to see Mama feeling like herself again. I couldn't stand seeing her so Melancholy. Things work out for the best on their own, you know?"

Azumi knew what that was like for sure. Things were looking up and as soon as Yuri can stop huggling Ryouji so Emi can get her huggle. Things just seem different without the huggling. Her husband would be all for it…if he was awake that is. Azumi got off her stool and opened the pantry door and got a small bag out for the shopkeepers a few miles from her house.

She walked back over to Emi and placed the bag on the table and slid it towards her daughter-in-law. She quickly hopped back into her stool and began to drink her tea.

“Be sure the shopkeepers know that this comes from me! I made it just how she like it too! She is a kind elderly woman who love my cinnamon-sugar. I make her enough for a month so make sure she get it!”

Azumi takes a sip of her tea and sighs happily as Shiori comes in to the kitchen slowly rubbing the back of her neck. She sits down next to Emi and grumbles. Since she was awake, the two of them can go to drop off the cinnamon-sugar!
