A Very Big Dinner!

With Yuri coming home and bringing Mikasa, Azumi shouted that she was in the living room reading! Yuri came in and greeted Azumi and being followed by Mikasa who was looking for something. Azumi put her book away and glanced in Mikasa’s direction, seeing her look rather sad about something. Azumi stepped in front of Mikasa and placed her hand on her hips.

“What’s wrong Mikasa? Nothing is cooking right now, but what do you say we invite everyone home for dinner? Besides I believe that everyone will be happy to see you. What do you say?”

Mikasa’s eyes opened and she got extremely teary eyed. It will be exciting to have everybody home again and eating the best food in the universe!!!

Mikasa threw up a classic peace sign and rushed off to the kitchen to prepare. Once Mikasa was getting the pans and things to prepare Missus Azumi’s cooking Azumi was bothered by something.

“Yuri, don’t you find it odd that Mikasa knows the peace sign but I haven’t showed it to her before?”

Maybe she was overthinking the peace sign but she swears that she never told nor shown Mikasa the peace sign. She just did it out of the blue. In any case, Azumi went off into the kitchen to prepare this enormous feast.

It will be good to see everyone again and laugh and just be together again like family should be. Still it was weird an completely unexpected that Mikasa knew about the peace sign when she has only used it in front of her daughters and grandchildren. Something was off but it’s best not to worry about it now.

Azumi reached into her pack pocket and pulled out her phone to call everyone who she considers family and her husband to find out what he was up too!!

[Yuri Nakayama]

Yuri thought for a moment and then gave a shrug. Maybe it was weird but then again, maybe she saw her children use it or something. Nothing for her to be worried about.

"Maybe she saw Emi or one of the little ones do it. After all, you know how much they like to visit the barracks while Im there."

That is, when she was there. The editorial things with Squad Nine had slowed down a bit, so there wasn't much need for her there. Regardless, now that they have, she could try to focus on actual Captain duties which means trying to get her squad into shape. Before stepping in fully, Yuri made sure to take off her shoes and set them neatly aside.

With a stretch, the captain would head inside and head into the living room to where she saw Azumi on the phone. When she was off, she would speak to her.

"It feels nice to be home after a while. Mikasa has already gotten after me about it, but I just don't like being a burden regardless. Anyway, I can help you cook while we wait for everyone to come."

After what felt like hours of cooking Azumi and Mikasa were finally done and finished cooking. Both of them were excited not only to eat but to see everyone! Azumi made sure to teach Mikasa some of her secrets when it comes to preparing food for both her and Yuri.

Now that she wasn’t cooking food Azumi reaches into her pocket and grabs her spirt phone and uses it to call her husband Ryouji. She placed the phone to her ear and waited patiently for him to answer and once he did, she began to speak

“Hey honey, if you don’t mind could you bring Shukumei home with you? Mikasa and I just made an enormous feast so we are inviting everyone over eat!”

Ryouji agreed and also offered to go and get his sister Shukumei. Azumi thought that was a fantastic idea and also made mention to also get Rin and Yuri’s father it would be nice to see “Old Man Naka” plus she knows that if he comes, Yuri would really appreciate it.

Ryouji agreed and told her that he loved her. She smiled and told him that she loved him too and ended the call. She immediately called Shiori and Emi. She quickly explained that she explained that she and Mikasa cooked a large dinner and she would love it if they could come over to spend time with them and she agreed!!

She also made mention of Shizune and her daughter!! She agreed and told Emi that her dear favorite “Uncle” was going to be there so she had to get Ami and come home!

Then she got up and went back to the kitchen and saw Mikasa sitting and watching the oven. She wanted to make something special for Azumi, it was certainly going to be her favorite!!!

While they were busy cooking, Yuri would take off her Haori and fold it neatly. She would head to her room to change into something a bit more comfortable. She would set her clothes down neatly on the floor once she was in a simple set of pajamas that she has received as a gift years ago. Sure, she had intentions of asking Ryouji for that spar, but figured she'd deserve to rest just a little bit.

Afterwards, she would return to the living room, giving a big stretch before taking a seat in order to get settled in. Eventually, Ryouji and everyone came in. She got up and greeted everyone. She was even surprised to see her father was invited. She was still getting used to him being here, but was thankful nonetheless. Just because he's in her life doesn't mean it changes anything.

"Ryouji, would you like to spar some time after we ate? It's been a while and Mikasa is being a spoil sport."

Before Ryouji could respond, Emi had called out his name and went to give him a tackle hug. What happened next... Yuri wasn't sure if it was real or not. When she dove for Ryouji, Emi turned... Little?! This left Yuri in a... What do the humans say? Deer in the headlight look? Safe to say, she was speechless. She could only mutter a "Huh?" and stared in utter disbelief.

When Emi super tackled Ryouji as a little girl no less, Ryouji was shocked but it didn’t hurt half as much as the shocked that Little Emi was hugging on to him! He was most certainly was grateful, he loved his daughter-in law very much.

He looked to his wife and sister and they weren’t surprised at all, however when he stared at Yuri and seeing how shocked she was, that told him everything he needed to know! He stood up and was carrying Emi in his arms.

Ryouji put Emi down, and she immediately jumped back into his arms again. She must be very excited to see him again. To be honest he was happy to see her too! Everyone knows how close they were!

“I am very happy to see you too Emi! If you don’t mind, I want to give a hug to my actual kids and wife! If that is alright with you!!”

It was adorable to hear and see the two of them reacting and so wonderfully. Emi nodded, and Ryouji put her down and she returned to her normal size and age!

Ryouji took the chance to hug each one of his kids and he gave his wife a gigantic hug and a kiss. He was happy to see them but he was also thinking of how everyone was acting normal by Emi changing her size. What the heck could that mean?

It was obvious that Yuri was confused as well. Why on earth was everyone not surprised by Emi shrinking down to the size of a child? Although she wasn't the o KY one startled by this, it was besides the point.

"So... While I don't mind the transformation from an adult to a child, why isn't anyone but Ryouji and myself surprised by this? It's not normal!"

This made Yuri rub the back of her head as she pondered the possibilities. Was she missing something?

[Shiori Onigata]

After being hugged by her father, she heard her Auntie Yuri question why Emi changed sizes, even her father said something and it made her question if she and Emi forgot to change their memories so they wouldn’t question her changing ages.

Honestly Emi was so happy that her Uncle Ouji was coming back that she forgot to change his memory. It’s just like she forgot to change Auntie Yuri’s memory. She wouldn’t let her change a thing but she realized that they had to tell them.

“Daddy, Auntie Yuri, will you follow me please? Emi and I need to talk to you about something!”

Once Ryouji and Yuri looked toward one another and then followed Shiori and Emi upstairs. Azumi questioned why then she remembered that even she had a question so once they were up stairs, she followed the four of them and stayed hidden. She pulled out her phone and noticed the time on her phone was wrong, it was never wrong, it said it was 8:47 PM. It was 6:20 PM. She never told anyone about time and she was known as a keeper of time. Even her Zanpakuto deals with time.

With the four of them upstairs and in a room Shiori leaves the door slightly open and she comes back over and sits down on the bed she sighed and leaned forward.

“I don’t know how to tell you two this but, don’t be mad…but Emi isn’t the only one who can control her age. I can do it too and it’s because we figured out how to control our ages thirty years ago. Unfortunately we lost you all around fourth-five years ago. The only people to make it was Emi, myself, Ami and Auntie Yuri’s father.”

Ryouji stood up shocked, the was angry at the two of them. They died, who killed them and why? He thought that Shiori was the strongest person alive?

“You mean to tell me that we died? Yet we are alive and this happened fourth-five years ago? What happened to us all?”

Shiori was a little sad that her father was acting this way but at this same time, she did understand why he was angry. She told them what happened how Ryouji fought the real person behind what was happening but even he couldn’t stop it. He pushed Yuri out of the way and took the blade and when he told Emi that he loved her and died that flipped the switch and she lost it. After her mom and everyone died while trying to fight Emi was the one who defeated her.

It was the battle of a lifetime. They’ve lost so many but they’ve tried to make due but over time that feeling faded and Emi had the glorious idea to tell Shiori about it…

============Enter Flashback==============

Shiori came back from her most recent patient and sighed. Emi was her usual bubbly self, even more than usual. Once getting some tea she sat down at her computer. She was looking over files and making sure that all of her visits were up to date.

“Shiori, do you miss the old days? Missing our parents, I know I miss Uncle Ouji a lot!!”

Shiori took it upon herself to nod. She misses her parents and her sister, and pretty much everyone who died…especially Auntie Yuri. The said thing is that she had to just get over them passing and make peace with it. It wasn’t a peaceful situation, but it was the right one.

“I miss all of them so much. I find myself thinking a lot about them, but I have made peace with them passing. It was the right thing to do. I do wish that I could go back and give them all a hug”

Emi had a smile that was not only fitting but kind of evil too. Not in a bad way but a kind of selfish. You see not only was Emi the absolute strongest person in her family but the entire muiltiverse!

Emi possessed a power known simply as “Restruction”. She could bring back entire worlds and everyone and everything in it! She could also play with the memories of each individual person. She could reinvent or delete them without thinking about it. She was basically a freaking God!

“I miss them too, that’s why we are going home in three days!!”

Shiori thought nothing of it and just said “Okay, sure we are…” Poor thing, Emi was so lost but maybe she could figure this whole thing and maybe it wouldn’t be so bad. She picked up her tea and focused on her computer. Shiori then widened her eyes and spit her tea on pretty much everything in front of her. She face Emi in disbelief…

“WHAT!?!?!?”

That was everything Shiori left and was shocked that her Auntie Yuri was back and so was everyone else. Ryouji was shocked at just how powerful Emi was. She makes Shiori’s power seem like nothing and Shiori’s strength was incredible.

“Daddy please don’t be angry. Emi brought everyone back because she missed you so much!!! That it’s because of you and Emi’s undying love and affection that we are having this discussion right now!!”

Ryouji looked to Emi, she had her head lowered because we they technically did a bad thing but if it wasn’t for Emi’s love for Ryouji, then they wouldn’t be here. Besides he couldn’t stay mad at the two of them. Ryouji grabbed Emi and gave her one of the most loving hugs ever. Emi turned little and embraced it. Ryouji loves Emi so incredibly much that he just held her in his arms and didn’t want to let her go.

Azumi heard everything and pushed the door open and glared at Emi and Shiori.

“MEGUMI…SHIORI!!!!!!!”
