It was a rather nice and sunny day in the Soul Society. Azumi’s day was going to keep her busy, like most days but she didn’t mind them at all. Azumi loved to keep her homes nice and tidy, so she would stay busy to make sure that both of her homes were clean.
The last time we saw Azumi, she was getting ready to yell at Shiori and Emi but the moment she saw Ryouji hugging Emi, the feeling of disgust went away. She did have a favor to ask the two of them. Upon telling the two of them that she would love to have her twin sister back, Shiori yelled at her. In fact it was because of Kaori and Ryouji’s younger sister that everyone was dead to begin with.
Emi was kind and caring as she always is, Emi agreed although the would have to make some adjustments to her. So she brought her back, and while the was different, they were like the twins of old…Shiori didn’t like it, but in order to make her mother happy, she would have to get use to it.
Ever since then, the two got along great, almost perfect in fact. Azumi stopped doing the laundry and wondered if it was to perfect. Azumi shrugged and went right back to folding laundry.
Once the laundry was folded, she took the basket upstairs to her room and put the clothes away. She glanced back at the bed and took notice of her sleeping husband and Little Emi still sleeping. She smiled and left the room and closed the door and went downstairs to get started on breakfast.
Azumi begins to cook a gigantic breakfast because her kids are and her nieces and nephew are eaters, plus her sisters and cousin might be joining them, so Azumi cooked a feast for breakfast. One by one she was joined by her daughters Shizune, then Ami, then Shiori crawled out of bed and Yuriko, and then her adopted sister Megumi! They sat down and began to talk and laugh while Azumi got the tea ready. Shiori yawned and then looked at her watch. Noticing the date, she widened her eyes. It was Valentine’s Day’s! She quickly leaned in closely so her mother couldn’t hear her
“Do you all realize what today is? It’s Valentine’s Day and I think we should surprise mom and daddy with a Valentine’s Day date! What do you think?”
After realizing that there parents have nothing planned. Shizune is actually had a great idea! Rather than getting both of there parents a gift, why don’t they actually make them dinner!
“Why don’t we make them dinner? I know it’s crazy to imagine us cooking dinner especially in a kitchen where my mother handles everything, but I think that it would be fun!”
The five girls looked at one another and immediately said no! Azumi would destroy them if the cooked dinner for them! Megumi was from a future where she was the only survivor out of everyone and after living through all of that, she remembered to never touch anything in Azumi’s kitchen.
Suddenly Emi appeared out of nowhere in her adult form, causing the others to become shocked. Shiori also remembered…thanks to Emi that Auntie Yuri and her husband Tohru lived here too.
“I know it seems like a silly idea but all of us know have learned a thing or two in the kitchen, it makes so much sense to cook a dinner for one night only for mom and dad and Auntie Yuri and Uncle Tohru!”
Everyone was looking rather surprised but it seemed like a good idea, besides if it wasn’t then they could send them out next year. So it was decided, now they just had to tell Azumi.
Shiori and Emi approached Azumi to tell her the surprise that she, Ryouji Auntie Yuri and Uncle Tohru had in store for tonight! Before she could even speak to her, Azumi immediately cut her off.
“Shiori, Emi…what are you up to? What have you to got planned?”
Emi immediately threw her arms around Azumi and began to cry. Azumi immediately unwrapped Emi’s arms and shook her head.
“Stop pretending to cry, you aren’t fooling anyone. Now seriously, what are you two up to?”
Emi shook her head and the two of them explained what all of them had had discussed A dinner could be nice but, Azumi wasn’t sure if all of the girls were up to the task. After all, Ryouji and Yuri were enormous eaters. After showing their drive, Azumi agreed reluctantly. Giving up control of her kitchen for one night wouldn’t lead to trouble.
“Everyone get cleaned up, breakfast will be done in a moment. Emi can you give your uncle a cutiness wake up call? You have been think of doing this for an eternity!”
Upon hearing her Auntie ask her to give Ryouji a Cutiness Wake-Up was the thing she was missing to make her whole day better! Emi changed her age to a three year old and ran upstairs to wake him up but when she reached the top of the stairs, she jumped up happy because her favorite Uncle was waiting for her.
Ryouji walked down the stairs carrying Emi and walked into the kitchen where his daughters were sitting and greeted each of them. Azumi greeted Ryouji and gave him a kiss. Azumi began to explain what their daughters and Emi were planning for the two of them and Yuri and Tohru. The only thing Ryouji and he was shocked that Azumi actually allowed them in the kitchen but it will be nice. Ryouji kissed Azumi again and headed over to his seat at the table and prepared for breakfast.
He glanced around and noticed that Yuri and Tohru weren’t here for breakfast however he knew that from the moment Azumi puts the plates down on the counter, that it was going to be time for food.
Azumi began setting the plates and and filling them with breakfast food and Yuri and Tohru came down and took their seats while saying good morning to everyone. Once Azumi brought them all their plates and let them all eat. They talked and laughed and were all enjoying each other’s company as a family does. Once they were finished with breakfast they each went off to do their own thing and left the kitchen to the girls. That’s when Shiori had put her plan into motion.
She called everyone to let them know that it was a surprise and once all of the proverbial ducks were in a row, now it was time to prepare the dinners for the four love birds.
=================Several Hours Later==================
Azumi was in the restroom placing her hair into a bun. Who would have guessed we would actually see Azumi, dressed nicely instead of cooking for once! Once she was completely dressed she stepped in front of her husband and spun around in a circle and smiles.
“Do you like it? How do I look?”
Ryouji smiled in return and told her that she looked wonderful. She hiked up her kimono and left the room and went down the hallway to check on Yuri. She knocked on the door and Tohru opened the door. Azumi stepped inside and Tohru closed it behind her. She asked for Yuri and Tohru pointed to the restroom.
After hurrying to the restroom, Azumi peeked inside to check on her. She had on a gorgeous Kimono and her hair was beautiful! Azumi asked if they were ready to go. Yuri nodded, she hoped nothing caught on fire. Well they didn’t have to leave that was a good sign.
Once they were ready the Azumi stopped and grabbed Ryouji and the four of them went downstairs. The set up was amazing. It was nice and red. With flower pedals and everything. This place looked fantastic! Both Tohru and Ryouji both helped Azumi and Yuri to their seats and then sat down themselves.
Fortunately Shiori, Emi , Shizune, Megumi,Ami and Yuriko had other plans to make this night really special!! Starting with who would bring them all a cup of tea! The servers entered the room with two cups of tea each and when they glanced up, it was Saya and Aysa!!! Each of them received a hug, crying that all of them were here!!
There was so much that each of them wanted to say to their grandparents but there would be here tomorrow. Azumi couldn’t believe her eyes at how grown they were!! They were no longer little kids but fully grown adults! After they received the tea the bowed respectfully and left the room, in tears!! They couldn’t believe that they were back!
After they drank their tea they were prepared for the next surprise! Next the appetizers were brought to the table by the Future Shizune and Future Emi. They hugged all four of them and were glad they were back home and safe!! Future Yuri snuck in and gave them a hug.
This day was incredible for them all. They would definitely talk later but for now they bowed and left the room! Next was the final surprise. It was huge and all of the girls want this one to go off without a hitch!! For each of them Shukumei, Kaori, Rin and Hinako and Hinata brought out the food for them to eat!!! Azumi gave Kaori the biggest hug. She was happy to have her own twin back. Once the hugs and the dinner was handed to them to enjoy but before the ones who brought them were to leave, there were a few more guests on the list!
Ayame, Azumi‘a half sister was here as well as Yuri best friend and Lieutenant Mikasa, Ryoko and Yuri’s twin daughters Ayumi and Ayane all came out to surprise them!! Everyone was hugged and thanked for coming out to see them and wish them well on this day of love! They all felt special and really appreciated. Everyone did there best to come out and wish the four of them a Happy Valentine’s Day and it was truly appreciated. All of them were extremely happy that each person could come!!
There dinner was served and it was the best dinner they couldld ask for and when they were stuffed. They moved to living room and asked everyone to join them. This was the happiest that they have ever been. Azumi hugged Ryouji and kissed him on the lips.
“Thank you to all of you who were able to stop by today! I have never felt the love and support that I feel right now. I love each and every one of you, so much!!”
It was truly the best day she could’ve hoped for and she was happy to share it with all of them.
